We had such an amazing experience staying with Peter and Dan. This was our first time using workaway and we didn't know what to expect but we couldn't feel luckier that this was our first experience.
Everyday was something different regarding our gardening/maintenance which we really loved. Whether it was weeding, trimming trees and hedges,
… read more burning our cuttings, digging, or building a stone wall, it was great to be given very clear instructions and then spend the morning working and listening to music.
The grounds of their home is gorgeous and we enjoyed their hospitality so much. Our afternoons off were spent anywhere from playing on their tennis court to Peter and Dan letting us use their bikes to ride into town.
We had the honor of being the first guests to stay in their cottage. It was a gorgeous, very clean, and private accommodation.
We can't say enough about the meals that we ate while we stayed with Peter and Dan. It was really nice having a family experience for supper while we were away from home and getting to chat about our days with Elodi and Arthur.
Peter and Dan went above and beyond by always driving us to the train station for our weekend trips into town as well as to the supermarket when we first arrived to pick up items we couldn't pack.

David spent a couple of weeks with us working on our cottage conversion. He was quick to learn, and approached every task with enthusiasm and humour. He fitted in well with the family and bonded with the children too.

We had an incredible two-week stay with Pete, Dan, Elodie, and Arthur. The accommodation was very nice and private, providing a comfortable retreat after our daily tasks.
