Tätigkeiten, die mich interessieren:

I'm currently at home. Heading with my Van from Belgium to Provence in France on April 7th. Driving from 'Les Vosges' in France to Ireland on May 4th. Have 1 or 2 places free for the journey ;-)

BONjour, BONjour.
Je m'appelle Olivier, j'ai presque 60 ans, et je vis en Belgique, près de Namur, avec ma femme. Nos 4 enfants vivent maintenant leurs propres projets. Je parle français, anglais, et un peu de néerlandais.
Je tiens un petit restaurant saisonnier chez nous (www.escale-en-vue.be), entre juin et septembre. J'adore cuisinier, accueillir les hôtes, aller chez mes producteurs locaux. En-dehors de cette activité, je travaille dans la sécurité informatique.
Durant nos vacances, nous parcourons les petites routes et chemins de France, Italie, Espagne, ... avec notre camping-car Poppy ou notre ancien van VW, Billy. Une liberté et un mode de vie que nous goûtons chaque jour. La nature nous apporte toujours un apaisement et des émerveillements.
De la marche et des haltes revigorantes, du vélo pour se rendre dans les villes ou faire nos courses, des découvertes, des paysages nature et de rencontres. Et quelques bons repas, simples mais goûteux, cuisinés avec passion avec des produits issus d'un artisanat ou d'une agriculture raisonnée. Et j'ai un petit faible pour les bonnes bières ;-)

En 2026, j'ai la chance de pouvoir prendre pas mal de congés. J'ai envie de passer quelque temps en rencontres et services légers, et de circuler en fonction de mes envies, de coups de têtes, de discussions, ... et de la météo. J'aime le soleil, surtout sa lumière.

Je sais cuisiner, accueillir, m'occuper de l'informatique (mais je préfère laisser cela pour mon travail). J'aime l'ambiance de famille, les enfants, les histoires. Parfois j'écris. J'aime photographier les gens sur le marché, les lignes d'architecture, un paysage, un détail dans un arbre ou sur une façade.

Je suis près à apporter mon aide pour des travaux qui ne demandent pas un très grande force physique. J'ai l'habitude des rush, je sais planifier et organiser, j'aime voir le résultat. J'aime travailler en équipe, en comptant sur chacun pour accomplir sa tâche, dans la bonne humeur et l'entre-aide .
J'aimerai en apprendre davantage sur la fabrication de fromage, la conservation des légumes.

Hello, hello.
My name is Olivier, I am almost 60 years old, and I live in Belgium, near Namur, with my wife. Our four children are now pursuing their own projects. I speak French, English, and a little Dutch.
I run a small seasonal restaurant at home (www.escale-en-vue.be) between June and September. I love cooking, welcoming guests, and visiting my local producers. Outside of this activity, I work in IT security.
During our holidays, we travel the small roads and paths of France, Italy, Spain, etc. with our motorhome Poppy or our old VW van, Billy. It's a freedom and a lifestyle that we enjoy every day. Nature always brings us peace and wonder.
We enjoy walking and refreshing stops, cycling to towns or to do our shopping, discovering new things, natural landscapes and meeting people. And we enjoy good meals, simple but tasty, cooked with passion using artisanal or sustainably farmed produce. And I've got a bit of a thing for good beers ;-)

In 2026, I am lucky enough to be able to take quite a bit of time off. I want to spend some time meeting people and doing odd jobs, and travelling around according to my desires, whims, conversations... and the weather. I love the sun, especially its light.

I can cook, entertain guests and take care of IT matters (but I prefer to leave that to my job). I enjoy family life, children and stories. Sometimes I write. I like to photograph people at the market, architectural lines, landscapes, details in trees or on building facades.

I am willing to help with tasks that do not require a great deal of physical strength. I am used to working under pressure, I know how to plan and organise, and I like to see results. I enjoy working in a team, relying on everyone to do their job, in a friendly atmosphere where we help each other.
I would like to learn more about cheese making and preserving vegetables.

Was noch ...

I still travel in my old converted VW T3 van (I love it; it's called Billy), where I can sleep, cook, etc. completely independently. But if there are facilities for sleeping, eating, washing, socialising, etc., I naturally prefer to use them.

When I travel, I have a little space for other travellers to share the journey.

Je circule toujours avec mon ancien Van VW T3 aménagé (je l'adore; il s'appelle Billy), dans lequel je peux dormir, cuisiner etc en toute autonomie. Mais s'il y a une infrastructure prévue pour dormir, manger, se laver, se rassemble, ... je préfère bien entendu m'y intégrer.

Quand je me déplace, j'ai un peu de place pour d'autres voyageurs et partager le trajet.
