Hi, I’m Nate from Australia.

For the past year I’ve been travelling overland from Europe through Central Asia and into Southeast Asia, mostly by trains, hitchhiking and slow travel. I enjoy experiencing places at a slower pace, meeting people, and learning about different cultures rather than rushing through tourist attractions.

I enjoy nature, hiking, camping, journaling, meditation, fitness and simple living. I adapt easily to new environments and am comfortable with basic living conditions.

I’m happy helping with practical work such as gardening, cleaning, maintenance, hospitality, cooking, animal care and general projects. I enjoy learning new skills and don’t mind getting my hands dirty.

I also have experience with computers and technology and can help with things such as website updates, basic IT support, online bookings, spreadsheets, digital organisation, social media, content creation and general computer-related tasks.

I’m easygoing, reliable, adaptable and happy to contribute wherever needed.

I’m hoping to use Workaway to slow down during my travels, meet good people, learn useful skills and experience local life more deeply.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I’ve spent the past year travelling overland and independently through Europe and Asia, which has made me very adaptable and comfortable in new environments and simple living situations.

Back in Australia I worked in landscaping, so I’m used to physical outdoor work, gardening, maintenance, using tools and working long days outside in different conditions. I’m happy helping with gardening, cleaning, building/maintenance tasks, painting, hostel help, carrying things and general hands-on work.

I’m also comfortable with camping, cooking simple meals, helping around shared spaces and living minimally while travelling. I recently spent time doing Vipassana meditation in Thailand, and I enjoy quieter environments, nature and learning from different ways of life.

I’m easygoing, respectful, physically fit and always willing to learn new skills and help wherever needed.

Some of my interests are hiking, camping, journaling, meditation, nature, photography and learning about different cultures and ways of life while travelling. I enjoy simple living, good conversations, spending time outdoors and exploring places slowly rather than rushing through them.

I also enjoy meeting new people through travel, cooking simple meals together, music, road trips and learning practical skills along the way.
