Dear hosts, I'm Mery, 29 years old from Italy but I live in the Netherlands from five years!
Before to move in the Netherlands I graduated in Primary Science Education and i worked in Italy as a teacher for few years. After a while i felt the need to open my horizons, and i went to the Netherlands ad aupair. The family which hosted me had three children of different ages, to whom i was supposed to teach italian (from english, of course!).
The idea was to live in the Netherlands only for six months, but i felt so much in love with the multicultural city of The Hague that i couldn't help: i decided to stay!
Aupair job is amazing and gives you life, but doesen't pay your rent! And after one year and a half with that amazing family, i felt the need to build my own path. So i started to look for job in hospitality: back in Italy my grandpa ran two restaurants, my passion is the kitchen (i worked as a sous chef) but I'm very humble and adaptable and i learnt very quickly also other tasks when necessary!
I met my boyfriend, Roni, 3 years ago. We always joke about how we met because I went for an interview in this restaurant and he was the chef! We clicked, at work and outside, from the very beginning!
Roni is Bulgarian, he moved to the Netherlands six years ago without knowing one word of english - very brave! He learnt on the field - the kitchen - and he did it very quickly. He has an high sense of adaptation. He is now learning also italian as long we work together from three years and most of them we spent in italian restaurants. He is very hard worker and extremely focus and precise about his job. He loves sports - but be careful, i can be very competitive in it! Beside the kitchen he was also trained for the front, bar etc.
We love to travel. Hospitality doesen't allow it so often and for so long, and we believe that in short times you can only be a tourist, without actually connecting with the local cultures. That's why, together we decided to take a break from the busy life of the city, to reconnect ourselves with the nature and to explore the world from other points of view!
Hopefully we will find our perfect match which is going to guide us trough this amazing experience!

Was könntest du arbeiten?

Mery is graduated in primary science education and she has experience as a teacher, babysitter, teacher or english and italian to foreign children; she also has experience as a sous chef and different roles in hospitality.
Roni is graduated at the chef school and he has 12 years experience in hospitality as a chef; beside this, he is very pragmatic person and he can be a great help for anything necessary around the house / garden; he also loves sports and he might be a great company for those whom want to practice basketball and volleyball!

Was noch ...

Mery loves arts, while Roni is mostly for sports.
We often go play billiard together, we like to have walks around the city in the green areas and we are sea lovers! We are not party animals but on warm spring nights in netherlands we enjoy one glass of wine or one beer in the city centre. We love to have people around!
