This was our first workaway and it was just such an amazing experience. It was very spontaneous and perfect match for our skills and Jimeana’s beautiful eco project.
We stayed 10 days and are planning to return very soon again 🎶🤩

… read more company and learned a lot about the area the first few days of our stay and we met quite few of her friends and neighbors as well as had long and lovely conversations and exchange of ideas so we already feel that we have known each other for many years ❤️ The second part of our stay, we were alone at the hotel and took care of the beautiful plants, the garden and SImon completed the tasks that Jimena needed the most like fitting the chimney for the wood - burning stove, removing broken glass from few door panels replacing them with metal sheets and fixing a roof at her amazing hexagonal glass houses etc. Ana redisigned some parts of the garden and planted new plants as well as took care of cutting down the parts of the the agave pulpo plant that was affected with the fungal disease hoping it will thrive back to health soon again. Watering and looking after the garden was such a pleasure. We are hoping to come back and help with fitting irrigation system as well as do some more garden design and plant few more plants.
The eco lodge is just magical refuge for really special souls with such an romantic note that will inspire you to live much closer to the nature. Most beautiful pine forest 🌳 is just few minutes away as well as some of the most beautiful sandy beaches.
