I am currently in Malaysia. I'll be helping a animal sanctuary, looking after animals, feeding them, sowing fields and harvesting.

Hi there, I'm Megan. I'm a very spirited individual who loves meeting new people, immersing myself in different cultures, and feeling useful.

I'm a jack of all trades, enjoying fitness, eating well, meditation, and tarot readings.

I really enjoy trying new things and being part of something worthwhile in the long run.

I have been travelling since April 2026 and had the opportunies to help with farm work in multiple places in Nepal, help create a Nepali wedding, look after many animals such as chickens, goats and dogs. I've helped an English school in Thailand for one month, which was a rewarding but challenging role. During my time in Vietnam, I've assisted two hostels to increase their guest entertainment while visiting the areas - on in Hoi An and the other in Da Lat.

I've had the best time and an exciting journey exploring new places outside the UK so far, and having the opportunity to see parts of South East Asia. I hope to reach some other parts of the world in the future.

I am very adaptable to tasks and eager to learn new skills, which I am actively pursuing during my time on Workaway. My strengths are event planning assistance, socialising with different people, creating questionnaires/trivia quizes, creating flavourful drinks; coffee and alcohol, cooking nutritional food and getting my hands dirty; planting, digging and weeding.

things I'd love to improve on; more responsibility within a role - like being team leader of other volunteers within a place, work on my barista skills, support children with their English skills, build something made of wood, decorate and area and my drawing/sketching abilities.

my main goal for being apart of workaway is to gain insightful skills for my future goal of owning my own animal sanctuary. so my main interests for helping hosts are; working with animals, learning how to build/carpentry, digging and planting produce and overall being apart of a community. in addition, I want to assist children with their English skills as I'm completing an online TEFL course, ending in November.

I am vegan and value all beings; I appreciate all religions and respect everyone's view of the world. I love to chat about many topics and see the world from new perspectives.
I look forward to hearing from future connections and hope to bring some joy to everyone I meet on my journey.

Hi there! I’m someone who loves meeting new people, exploring new places, and lending a helping hand wherever I go. Originally from the UK, I’ve spent time as a fitness instructor, motivating groups and bringing lots of positive energy to every class. I’m great at organising events and keeping things running smoothly—my friends always come to me when they need help planning or researching something!

I've been travelling since April, and the skills I’ve gained from my previous volunteering work have been insightful. I had the responsibility of looking after animals such as goats and chickens.
I've taught English to young children and helped create engaging learning materials. I've also increased my productivity in encouraging people to join hostel events.

I was a freelance tour guide for international students in Liverpool (UK), and I really enjoy sharing interesting facts about the city and connecting with people from all over the world.

I’m passionate about helping children grow and thrive, and I’m always happy to support them in managing their emotions and having fun.

I have a background in organising events and have run a couple of fundraising activities, which could be very useful if you need someone to help increase funds and raise awareness of your NGO or project.

Animals are close to my heart, and I have plenty of experience looking after pets—whether it’s taking dogs for walks, feeding cats, or simply giving them love and attention. I am keen on helping animals live a peaceful life and helping farm animals feel safe and comfortable.

I also hold a full UK manual driver’s licence, so I’m happy to assist with any driving or transportation needs.

I’m friendly, reliable, and always eager to learn something new. Whether you need help organising activities, caring for children or animals, or just someone to chat with over a cup of tea, I aim to be a wonderful workawayer for hosts' needs.

I enjoy creating memories for others to cherish, providing a listening ear to anyone needing support, I am a great cook and happy to help in the kitchen. if you need help with create new marketing materials, I can use canva to produce these.

I am currently waiting on my Australian visa to be approved, which I hope to be by the end of October! otherwise I may have to go back to the UK and come back to this side of the world once it is approved.
