Right now I am outside San Miguel de Allende ready to go on my next WORKAWAY and a new adventure.

Beschreibung

I am a US citizen but currently living in beautiful Mexico. I am a bit older than most workers but I do work hard a bring a lot of knowledge in many different genre. I have built houses, used cob, laid tile, have constructed raised gardens beds, hung light fixtures and a lot of my life has been spent in hospitality. I am a graduate from Johnson & Wales with a bachelors in business management. I brought my own car to Mexico since I have my temporary residence and I even brought back my vacuum with me because I like to keep things clean and organized. I do travel with a most loving and well behaved dog, Charlie. He is house broken and gets along with all animals and loves everyone. I am looking for a place where not only can I help but also make connections, learn more Spanish, become immersed in the cultrue. I have been here for over a year and doing mostly house and pet sits. I like physical work and achieving goals that I may be given. I sure hope someone finds it in their heart to give us a try. Thank you for reading!!

Was könntest du arbeiten?

Construction, painting, laying tile or floors, renovations, gardening, driving some heavy equipment, cooking, cleaning, organizing and am a very quick learner.
I have done both trim and framing carpentry work, operated a John Deere tractor and a loader, used nail guns and other power tools, though I prefer a hammer. I managed my own management and cleaning business for downtown Charleston mansions and beach houses on Isle of Palms and Sullivans island. I am a wizard at organizing and have a bachelors degree in business science and Hospitality Management.

I truly love the outdoors and find great pleasure in creating things to enhance my surroundings in natural ways. I am looking to slow down in life, still work hard but for something greater than F&B, and live a more simpler, self sustainable lifestyle. I love animals and children and am currently traveling with my companion Charlie, the sweetest dog you’ll ever meet. I am definitely open to learning new languages and anything else to better myself and the world we are living in.
