  I am a welcoming and open-minded host who enjoys meeting people from different cultures and sharing the experience of life in Montenegro. My home is located in the center of town, close to local shops, cafés, and everyday amenities, while still offering easy access to the beautiful nature of Durmitor.
  
  The house is comfortable and full of character, but like many homes in the mountains, it occasionally needs maintenance, repairs, and small improvement projects. I appreciate volunteers who are practical, motivated, and happy to contribute with everyday household tasks or hands-on work around the property in a friendly and relaxed environment.

  Staying on Durmitor offers volunteers a unique opportunity to experience the authentic lifestyle of Montenegro and learn about local culture, traditions, and customs through everyday life in a mountain household. By helping with house maintenance, daily chores, volunteers can develop practical skills, teamwork, and exchange experiences with people from different backgrounds.
  
  Beyond the work itself, volunteers can enjoy the beautiful nature of Durmitor, homemade food, peaceful mountain surroundings, and genuine local hospitality. This cultural exchange encourages personal growth, meaningful connections, and a deeper understanding of different ways of life and cultures. The volunteer can use bikes any time when he needs to. We provide 3 meals a day in exchange for up to 25 hours a week of help or a stipend may be provided for Workawayers to cook for themselves. The volunteer can chouse 2 full days off.

  You will have plenty of spare time to visit around here and rest. Other than the help described above, if you have an experience with maintenance of the house, it's highly welcome!

  During their free time, helpers can explore the stunning natural beauty of the Durmitor region, including hiking trails, lakes, forests, and mountain viewpoints in Durmitor National Park. Popular activities include hiking, cycling, rafting on the Tara River Canyon, visiting the famous Black Lake, or simply relaxing and enjoying the peaceful mountain atmosphere. The volunteer can use bikes any time when he needs to.
  
  The house is located in the town center, so cafés, restaurants, shops, and local markets are all within walking distance. Public transport and bus connections are available to nearby towns and other parts of Montenegro, and during the season there are also opportunities to join local tours and outdoor activities. The area is ideal for people who enjoy nature, simple living, and outdoor adventure.
