Beschreibung

Hello! My name is Marcy. I’m French and 34 yo.

I’ve been travelling all my life: alone, with friends, as an au pair, backpacking, and with Workaway twice already.


I’ve been dreaming about travelling around the world in one go since I was a kid. I procrastinated for a long time, but now I’m tired of living a « small » life. So I’m finally putting my foot down: I’m going to travel the world for a whole year! It makes me so happy just to say it.

And I want to do it by living with locals because I learn so much when I do. I grow, I open my mind, and I make real friends 😊

I’m also a business owner: I’m building my YouTube channel and creating online coaching programs. I love what I do, so I need time and a quiet spot to manage it while I travel.
When I do Workaway, I usually split my day: for example, I help my host in the morning and then work on my projects in the afternoon. I’m very flexible, so I can adjust easily, as long as we discuss things clearly in advance.
I enjoy working independently once I understand the tasks. I really love doing good jobs (some friends call me Monica if you know the show Friends 😂) so  I need clear instructions and trust to do so.

I especially love helping with inspiring projects, especially if they’re connected to nature, animals or a meaningful lifestyle.

I also love having free time: to have fun with you, play board games, go for a walk, read a book…
I’m introverted and sociable so I love sharing simple moments, laughing, chatting, but I also need some alone time to recharge my batteries.

I can’t wait to meet amazing hosts, help with inspiring projects and live this adventure together!

- I don’t mind getting my hands dirty: for example, I helped my uncle build his house in Portugal and I loved taking care of horses (including mucking out the stables!) during my Workaway in Scotland
- I’m happy to help with daily tasks around the house or garden
