Hi! We are Manuela and Rossano, a 33-year-old couple from Sardinia, a beautiful island in Italy.
We love nature, animals, adventures, creative activities and, of course, traveling. When we travel, we look for authentic experiences, meaningful connections and local cultures, believing that every journey is an opportunity to grow and enrich our lives.

Rossano is an agronomist and has spent the last 10 years traveling and working on agroecological and sustainable projects in Central America. Manuela is a social educator and support teacher, with experience working with adolescents,young people in both school and extracurricular projects, including harm reduction initiatives with adults.

After completing our professional specializations, we decided to travel together for six months. From the very first moment we met, we felt a strong and powerful connection, and we believe our energies work especially well together.

We love learning new skills and sharing our passions with others. Manuela loves singing, and we both love music. We also really enjoy cooking together and sharing meals. Sustainability is a core value for us: we actively practice and promote a more conscious, respectful and environmentally friendly lifestyle.

We both love animals and have experience in animal care and rescue projects. Rossano has also worked in agroecology and sustainable building, and we are very interested in deepening our knowledge of permaculture and regenerative practices.

Some of the skills and experiences we can offer include:
– Agroecology, sustainable farming and basic permaculture practices
– Gardening, planting, harvesting and general farm work
– Animal care and support in shelters or rescue projects
– Social and educational work with children, teenagers and young people
– Community living, teamwork and cultural exchange
– Cooking, cleaning and daily household tasks
– Creation of content for social media (photos, videos, basic editing)
– Design of simple promotional materials such as flyers, posters and visual content to promote projects or locations

We consider ourselves empathetic, open-minded and extroverted people. Thanks to our diverse life and work experiences, we have developed strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Rossano has lived for long periods in Central America and Australia and speaks fluent Spanish and English. Manuela speaks English and basic Spanish and is very motivated to improve both.

We see Workaway as a meaningful exchange: offering our time, skills and energy while learning from hosts, local communities and different ways of living.
We are very excited to start this new adventure, meet inspiring people, discover wonderful places and be part of this beautiful community where people help and support each other.

Was noch ...

We like listening to all kinds of music, but I especially love reggae, techno and popular and folkloristic music. Manuela loves singing and has participated as a singer in several music events.
