Hi, I’m Luzy, 30 years old and from Münster, Germany. I work as a social worker and have been running a youth center for the past five years – a job I truly enjoy. From February until June/July I’m taking a break from city life to spend more time in nature, learn new things and connect with inspiring people.

I grew up on a small farm and really miss working with animals and being outdoors. I’m experienced in taking care of animals, mucking out stables, feeding, and general farm work. Some years ago I also gained valuable experience working on a cattle farm and at a horse-riding holiday camp in Australia.

I enjoy cooking, being outside, and learning about sustainable farming and food production. I love sports and movement, and I am organized, tidy, and don’t mind rolling up my sleeves to clean or do whatever tasks are needed. I can ride horses, work self-sufficiently, but also love being part of a team. With my work background, I’m used to taking responsibility, getting things done and getting along well with different kinds of people.

In February I’ll also be finishing my yoga teacher training, so I’d be happy to share yoga practice if there is interest.

I speak German and English and would love to improve my Italian while traveling. People usually describe me as open, easy-going and fun to be around.

I’ll be traveling in my converted Caddy van – on warm nights, and when there is access to water and electricity, I can also sleep there.

Was noch ...

In my free time I enjoy being active – hiking, swimming, cycling, or just spending time outdoors. I also love yoga, of course or cooking together with others. I’m curious by nature and always happy to try new activities, learn new skills, or simply share stories and laughter. I’m an easy-going and sociable person who likes both good conversations and quiet moments in nature.
