Beschreibung

I'm an oceanographer lost in the Swiss mountains. A wandering soul learning to navigate corporate life. A human being who, like many, seeks balance and meaning in life. I once lived without work, and now I work to survive.

I’m Aline, from Brazil. I’ve lived in Portugal, Italy and now Switzerland. Life here as a foreigner is not exactly simple or free, so I’m looking for hands-on experiences that bring me closer to nature, community, and meaningful connections. I enjoy being outdoors, noticing the small details in nature and connecting with people from different cultures.

I’m responsible, curious, open-minded, love learning new things and bringing a light and positive energy to the places where I stay. I enjoy being part of a team, sharing stories, and exploring different ways of living.

I have previous experiences with work exchange during my sabbatic year in 2021 - 2022. My main activities were in hostels as I wanted to connect with travelers. Now with Workaway I’m looking for a chance to step out of routine, experience new environments, and build genuine connections with people along the way.

I have low vision, which affects me especially during the night. I'm very independent most of the time but might feel uncomfortable in low-light spaces with multiple obstacles and need some help for specific tasks.
