  Beschreibung

  We are Mirella , Mosaab and our newborn son Gabriele. A few years ago we moved into an abandoned farmhouse, starting to create our new life project.
  We are in between Umbria and Tuscany, the beautiful medieval village of Città della Pieve is 1,5 km far from our place, immersed in the green countryside, made by green hills, olive trees and oak woods. We fell in love with this place, its people, views and atmospheres.
  With the help of our families and old and new friends we created a farmstead, a place where tourists and locals can experience harmony and connection with nature, with ecological practices and approaches.
  Our dream is now a reality: we take care of the land and produce organic olive oil and jams and juices from our fruits, we host tourists in the b and b and offer them an authentic experience with love and care.
  We have some animals: chickens, pigeons, turtles, cats and dogs (and soon the family will be growing!)
  We are looking for exchange experiences with new friends, people who wish to benefit from this environment and bring to us new energies, participating in our daily life and chores and actively helping us to make our project grow.

  we live in a wonderful place, where you can be in full contact with nature, yet at the same time you can go and explore beautiful towns and villages, reach Città della Pieve for a coffee and simply enjoy the lovely atmosphere of this medieval town.
  We will share time, food and our home, a place that we love and that we hope it will feel like home also for you.
  you can learn with us by helping together, and also the time and space for yourself can be very special, to explore, inside and outside, to create and be in harmony.

  Arbeit

  We would like help in the projects that we are carrying on, mainly related to the farm and agriculture, what exactly they are it depends on the period.
  Some examples.. gardening, building a fence for animals, planting or taking care of a vegetable garden, picking fruits and preparing jam, cleaning some areas, pruning, seeding, feeding animals, cleaning the henhouse, work in the wineyard, creating a pond etc etc....
  We expect you to be flexible and willing to engage in different activities, depending on the needs and on the season, following the rhythm of farm-life.
  We're looking preferably for somebody with some manual skills, but most importantly somebody who enjoy physical work and who doesn't back down when it's time to sweat or get the hands dirty.
  
  We are now looking for people ready to engage in our daily life actively and with motivation. We'll always be open to share knowledge and to value your capabilities. Physical tasks may be tiring if you're not used to it, but spending time in nature is beautiful and beneficial as well. You'll always be in a positive environment where we help each other.
  We truly commit to welcoming you to our home and sharing with you all this beauty, and we expect in exchange that you truly commit to work the hours that we agreed on and to be a positive and proactive presence in our life and in our project, so that the exchange can work and be enriching for both of us.

  Unterkunft

  we will host you in an independent and comfortable apartment, just in front of our house. It's a lovely place that we called "Pane e burro" (which means bread and butter) The place has 2 bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, a kitchen/lounge area and a terrace. The place can host up to 4 workawayers and has all the comforts of a house.
  You'll have the space to enjoy the peaceful environment and some time for yourself.
  
  INTERNET CONNECTION: we have the wi-fi but it's not a great speed. In the apartment the signal is not reliable.
  
  FOOD: we'll share with you what we have and what we regularly eat, which is mostly vegetarian (but we're not strictly vegetarian nor vegan). We try our best to provide a balanced diet but, please, if you have special needs or struggle to adapt, be ready to provide for your specific needs.
  Usually we organize and cook, we expect you to help us tidying after we eat and in the free days to be part of the whole process.
  In the apartment there's the fridge and the kitchen, so if you wish to get some food for yourself, to enjoy at any time you wish or to cook in your in your free time / free days, you can totally do that. In Città della Pieve there are supermarkets.

  Was noch ...

  In you free time you are very free to explore, or to stay and enjoy the green spaces, or whatever you may enjoy and wish.
  FREE DAYS: we'll be ready to help you if you wish to go somewhere but you don't have the car (if we can), but be aware that we're not in a big city, public transport is not available in front of our house. There are some bus lines from Città della Pieve (which is reachable by walking 20 minutes) and in Chiusi-Chianciano Terme there is a train and bus station.
