  We are a family of four people who choose to live in the countryside trying to achieve a more self-sustainable lifestyle, trying to exist in a less synthetic way and not being so dependent on a system that we believe is collapsing, we seek to interact with nature and connect with the cycles of this. We live in an ecological house of superadobe, built by us entirely on land. We are about 20 minutes from Minas, Lavalleja, in a very quiet environment but not isolated. In recent times there have come to live in the area some people with an idea similar to ours with which we interact and help each other.
  It is a nice and necessary challenge for these times that pass, we believe that another way of living is possible,
  
  
  Somos una familia de cuatro personas que optamos por vivir en el campo intentando lograr una vida más autosustentable, tratando de lograr una forma de vida menos sintetica y no ser tan dependientes de este sistema, buscamos interactuar con la naturaleza y conectarnos con los ciclos de esta. Vivimos en una vivienda ecológica de superadobe, construida por nosotros enteramente en tierra. Estamos a unos 20 minutos de Minas, Lavalleja, en un entorno muy tranquilo pero no aislado. En los últimos tiempos se han venido a vivir a la zona algunas personas con una idea similar a la nuestra con los cuales interactuamos y nos ayudamos mutuamente.
  Es un lindo y necesario desafio para estos tiempos que transcurren, creemos que otra forma de vivir es posible

  Although we still have a lot to learn, we are trying to use holistic systems as in the way of living and working. We can share the information we have acquired and we are always willing to learn more.
  
  Aunque nosotros aún nos queda mucho por aprender, estamos tratando de usar sistemas holísticos como en la manera de vivir y trabajar, nos gusta mucho investigar, leer y conversar sobre lo trascendental en la vida. Podemos compartir la información que hemos adquirido y siempre estamos dispuestos a aprender más, estamos abiertos a los nuevos paradigmas.

  Arbeit

  At the moment we are making completions to the area of our house, such as making a concrete floor and leveling certain areas of the land by removing some layers of earth. No experience is needed and the concrete mixer performs the heaviest work. What is required is a good attitude and eager to help. Other activities are to help on the preparation of the land for the garden, and similar projects.
  
  En estos momentos estamos haciendo terminaciones a la zona de nuestra vivienda como hacer un piso de hormigón y nivelar ciertas zonas del terreno quitando algunas capas de tierra. No se necesita ninguna experiencia y el trabajo más pesado lo realiza la hormigonera. Lo que si se pide es una buena actitud y muchas ganas de ayudar. Otras actividades es trabajar en la preparación del terreno para la huerta, y proyectos similares.

  We have space for up to two people in a room (two single beds) with private bathroom and separate from our house.

  Tenemos espacio hasta para dos personas en una habitación (dos camas de una plaza) con baño privado y separado de nuestra casa.

  La zona se presta para desconectarse del ruido y disfrutar de la tranquilidad. Se pueden hacer lindas caminatas y disfrutar de un horizonte muy amplio y noches muy estrelladas. A 5 km, hay un arroyo muy lindo donde se puede ir a nadar o simplemente contemplar las aguas claras.
