Hi! I’m Lukas , 22 years old and I come from Greifswald, a small city in the north of Germany. I love traveling and getting to know new cultures, people and ways of living. Recently I graduated and got my Bachelors in biology.
I joined Workaway because I want to experience a more authentic way of traveling using the break before starting my masters. Some of my main skills are cooking, childcare and taking care of animals. In my free time I love reading, doing yoga and spending time outdoors. Hiking in nature is one of my favorite activities because it helps me relax and appreciate the beauty of nature.
I would describe myself as a friendly, calm and open-minded person. I like working together with people but I also like to spend time alone.
At the moment I’m especially interested in traveling to Italy or Ireland. I would love to experience the culture, nature and everyday life there. I’m open to different kinds of projects, especially helping families, working with animals, working in the garden or supporting small community or nature-based projects.
I’m looking forward to meeting new people, learning new things and contributing wherever I can. -

Was könntest du arbeiten?
Some of my main skills include cooking, childcare and taking care of animals. I enjoy preparing meals for others and trying out new recipes. Cooking together or for a group is something I find very rewarding.
I also have a little bit experience with childcare and enjoy spending time with kids. I like playing with them, helping with small tasks or homework and creating a positive and fun environment.
In addition, I enjoy being around animals and helping with their care. Feeding them, spending time with them or helping with daily routines is something I’m happy to do.
Tasks like gardening, watering plants, removing weeds or helping harvesting are also things I would like to do.
I’m also always willing to help with general household tasks such as cleaning and organizing. I would say I am a reliable person, a quick learner and open to learning new skills if needed. -

I’m a calm, introverted and friendly person who enjoys both social time and quiet moments. I like spending time with people, sharing meals and conversations, but I also appreciate peaceful moments like reading, painting or doing yoga. Making music together is something I enjoy. I dont play an instrument, but I like singing.
Nature is very important to me, so I love being outdoors, going for hikes or simply enjoying the surroundings. I’m also always curious to learn new things, whether it’s new recipes, skills or learning more about different cultures and ways of life.
I speak German as my native language and English at a good conversational level. I’m always happy to practice and improve my language skills . At the moment I learn Italian becauseI did an Erasmus semester there.
Overall, I’m an open-minded and looking foreward to being part of a positive and welcoming new environment. -
