Hi, my name is Loudi, I am 32 years old and from the Netherlands. My biggest reason for wanting to travel is to explore who I am, what is important to me, and how to live a conscious, responsible life and do something useful to help others. I want to see how other people live, explore nature and new places and cultures, and I love to travel and meet new people. I love the outdoors and you can often find me on the water in my kayak, on a SUP, or going on a camping trip. I am a certified Paddle Canada L1 Sea Kayak Instructor en Level 3 Skills and have worked both in floral arts and tourism over the past couple of years apart from my workaway adventures. I love good conversation and great music. I would like to learn more a sustainable lifestyle as well and I'm interested in people and what drives them. Learning new languages is one of the best things about travelling that gives you a little taste of a new culture. I believe in love as the strongest motivation for making the world a better place and during my travels I want to explore how I can best participate in that and to be inspired by others who want to do the same.

I love different languages. I speak English and Dutch and German fluently and I recently started to learn French. I would love to learn more languages. I like to learn about the language spoken in the place I'm staying. If you are interested I could learn you more about Dutch or English language.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I enjoy a lot of different things and I'm open to learning new skills. My vocational background is mostly in floral arts and in tourism/gastronomy, and I am a certified Paddle Canada L1 Sea Kayak Instructor. I have some experience in small maintenance and renovation, like painting walls and putting in flooring, repairing and updating old furniture and I once disassembled my old bike, painted it and made a new version of it :)

I am not afraid of hard work and like to be active, so carrying material around and helping in the garden for example, I always like to do things like that as well. I am a creative person, so I love to build or rebuild places and things, or to decorate rooms and make a nice atmosphere.

During my work(away) experiences I have worked with different age groups. I have some experience in working with elderly on a daycare program for people with dementia and brain injury, and also worked with children, doing creative activities, babysitting and teaching English.

My educational background is in Safety Sciences, and Visual & Performing Arts, and a little bit experience in Social Anthropology.

I absolutely love the outdoors, so most of my freetime is spend on or in the water kayakking and paddle boarding. I love to go on camping trips in remote places, and enjoy hiking en skiing in winter.

I love music, I play the piano and am learning to play the guitar. I speak Dutch (native), English and German fluently, and would very much like to learn new languages, specifically French.. I could assist in language learning if you are interested. .

Was noch ...

I am a person who wants to live from the heart and with love, and that is one of my biggest goals. My other goal is to explore how I can be the best person for myself and the people around me and what the unique thing is I can contribute to make the world a better place. I am a person who likes to experience new things, skills and sports and to explore the natural world and beautiful nature of the outdoors. By traveling the world I want to meet other people to share experiences and stories with.
