Beschreibung

Hey, Liam here! I am an easy going guy and am quick to laugh. I’m anyways looking for opportunities to challenge myself especially when it comes to being outdoors. For example I’ve made two attempts at one of the most difficult zip line obstacle courses in Canada (I haven’t bet it yet, but I’ll keep trying) I been camping outside in winter without a tent a few times and was part of my college's woodsmen timber-sports team.

I can be a bit competitive, but don’t take myself too seriously and value a sense of humour. I enjoy nature, long conversations and meaningful work. I plan to spent a few weeks in Sweden end of last summer. The right-to-roam and a chance to learn about a different culture is what attracted me to there. I was living off grid during that time which has inspired me to set a goal to build my own off grid home. I want to learn as much as possible from people who are living alternatively. while I am home in Nova Scotia, Canada I work helping people with ecological forest management on there woodlots and teach at the local forest school.

My reason for travelling is to have opportunities to meet new people and gain new skills and experiences. I’ve always enjoyed the community created when I spent summers working and living at summer camp, Where my role involved running the outdoors program and climbing tower.

I am a forest technician by trade and my job involves helping woodlot owners with ecological forest management, I also instruct at a local forest school. In the past I’ve run climbing programs, taught canoeing and gymnastics.
