Bonjour! I am Laura, a French Canadian girl with a passion for travel.

I started exploring Mexico two months ago and it’s been an amazing adventure! I really love the culture here. I have been moving for the last two months so I feel like it’s the perfect time to ground my self by spending the next four weeks volunteering with a Workaway.

My passions include yoga, dance, cooking & music! This year I’ve also learned how to ski and surf and I am eager to keep improving my self and learning new things!

I’m a kind, respectful and hardworking person who never turns down a challenge. If you give me a task, I will figure out how to complete it, even if I’ve never done it before.

My Story:

Last year I decided to leave my home and travel around beautiful British Columbia in my van and it was the best decision I ever made! I was lucky enough to ski Canada’s highest mountains and surf its freezing cold waters, it was great fun.

I have always dreamed of exploring Mexico and so two months ago I decided to to drive my van down to Baja California. My van had a few issues and is currently in the garage, it will be fixed by mid January, so I made the decision to backpack around mainland Mexico. This leads me to now, wanting to volunteer at a Workaway for the next four weeks.

I love to make music with people, if anyone is interested In jamming I am keen! I play guitar and sing.

I am a big cook! I love food so much and could spend the whole day in the kitchen.

People are the most interesting thing to me, I am so interested in learning about people’s lives and gaining wisdom from their experiences.
