We can speak German and English fluently and like to learn more languages like Spanish for example. Lara learnt Spanish, Russian and French in school, but unfortunately, she can't speak them anymore, but she would love to refresh them.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

We are a friendly and reliable couple from Germany. We both grew up ten kilometers apart in small towns in Schleswig-Holstein. But we only met in 2012 when we were both backpacking independently in Australia. Since then our desire for an adventure like in Australia has never left us and in 2023 we started to fulfill our dream of traveling around the world. At home Malte worked the last four years as a seaman on an offshore vessel in the north sea. So he knows how to navigate a big ship and lead a group in an emergency. A hand’s on mentality, the readiness to help and his overall picture about the work situation are his strengths. Maltes interests are photography, hiking and outdoor and survival techniques. Like Malte, Lara is also "nordish by nature" and she likes hiking, wakeboarding and filming. In Germany she worked as project and communication manager at the Cancer Association. She organized benefit runs, prevention campaigns and created the content for website, social media and newsletters. She is a very enthusiastic and creative person who also likes watercolor painting and diy-projects. Together we are a smart and ambitious couple who likes to meet new people, try new things and make the best of every day.
