I'm a 29 year old solo traveler who loves sports, travelling, interactions and exchange with other cultures and people. I am a trained European correspondent, who worked in different industries and countries since.

I speak Spanish, English, French and German.

Passionate ocean lover and wake boarder, loads of experience in hospitality, instructing, life guard, bar supervisor, machine operator, Office Admin/Management.

This is such a unique way of travelling and connecting while adapting to routines of locals in a foreign country. After several great experiences in Australia and Spain, it's time for new adventures and more unique experiences. Time to live, love, learn, and share.

Based on extremely positive experiences with workaway, helpx, couchsurfing and HomeExchange in the past, I would love to continue the journey.

I am an easy going, inquisitive, creative and active person who loves extreme sports just as much as yoga and meditation.

I have a drivers' licence and am always keen to learn something new so if you have projects planned for the upcoming weeks/months I would appreciate lending a hand with whatever needs doing: From general tasks in and around the house/garden, cooking, office admin work, animal care, children and elderlies.

Interested in big talk, wide range of topics since there's so much stuff to explore in this world. So much to learn and too many interesting people. We will only get the chance to meet a tiny part of them anyways, so let's make this one life count!

I discovered my passion for foreign languages, cultures and people quite early so I decided to study languages and finished my studies as an European Correspondent in Germany back in 2016. Mastering another language is far from easy but definetely worth the effort, since it gives the opportunity to connect with people from other countries and overcome language barriers. On my way to fluency I really appreciate passing on or sharing knowledge and advice that help(ed) me to master a foreign language and as a curious person who is willing to learn I'm also very grateful for opportunities to learn from native speakers or other multilingual people. To be fair the way TO fluency is the best part about it as long as you're surrounded by the right (fun) people. Cause you will learn in a fun, practical and natural way! :)

Vom Workawayer () für Host (Learn about bush regeneration ...)

We only stayed for one week with John & Glenda as we were travelling up north. If we had more time we would have loved to stayed longer and extended no doubts. You will learn a lot about the native Bush land, plants, trees, herbs and local towns like Mullumbimby or Byron Bay as John & Glenda can tell you a lot and teach you so much about where … read more they live and nutrition. We enjoyed drying the leaves of their nusturtion plants, basil leaves and have it in tea or even made pesto out of it, yuuummm. John & Glenda are great cooks and bakers. It was particularly interesting to learn about the gluten free bread. Their property is located on a hill with incredible views and we were very lucky being hosted at this magical place, in the super cozy cottage/annexe to the main house with amazing views, and a spacious outdoor kitchen. We went grocery shopping at the beginning of our stay and Glenda made sure we have anything and everything we need to prepare nice meals throughout our stay. So caring and loving, patient and happy people in everything they do. We appreciate they shared their time, wisdom and knowledge with us. It was so great working in the orchard pruning trees, you can find mandarines, lemons, avocados, and even a chocolate pudding tree. It was like living in garden eden. Marvin even saw his first snake since we arrived in Australia. We cleaned the windows in the living room, got to weed in the herb garden, planted more beetroot, making some plants ready for winter, mixing up more soil, harvested beans, helped to chop some trees and remote trunks that had fallen after the cyclone. John & Glenda took us to the Mullumbimby market where we could find local products, listen to great live music and see what a social place it is, where community is very important. John is a skilled musician and we enjoyed our session with a Cajon, a guitar, shakers and singing while sitting by the fire. Jacob the son and his partner Anne are just as sweet, we shared a family dinner, went out to a pub together another night and enjoyed the time with fun people in our age just as much as the Yoga session in the morning where we met other community members of Ohana, we were so lucky being able to join a session the first morning after arriving at Glenda & John's. One other morning we made our way down to Byron before working and went for a lovely beach walk, John even went for a swim. What an energizing start into the day. Other afternoons we checked out the property and walked the fire trail or walked the hill up and down just for a nice long walk/workout. We appreciated having such beautiful nature just in front of the door and it was great to live in the green lush forest. It was literally like living in a postcard. The last evening we played grandma's game, a cards game which was so much fun as well. We could go on and on with dwelling in thoughts of this amazing week and already miss this and hope to make our way back down soon just to spend more quality time with John & Glenda.
John & Glenda: It has been an absolute pleasure living with you. Thank for sharing your travel stories, your time, place and work with us, we enjoyed this experience truly and to full extend. We hope to stay in touch and keep each other posted what's going on in our lives. Wishing you lovely workaway experiences meanwhile and all the best for the upcoming months. Vom Workawayer () für Host (Help with House , Gardens & ...)

We are still dwelling in thoughts about our precious time with Rhonda, Ken, Sasha and Chicken. No words can describe how grateful we are they hosted us and we stopped by. It was such a wonderful time in every possible way. It started when we arrived, they were both so welcoming, have a beautiful aura and positive energy, true optimists - nothing … read more can bring them down easily. They have great humor, are so generous and open-minded. We felt like home away from home. Our private space in the back of the house was like a spacious additional apartment attached to the house and like the rest of the house is decorated so beautifully and warm, they put their heart into it and it made us feel comfortable straight away. We got to meet their lovely daughters and grandchildren, they were up for a chat and brought very nice vibes into the house as well. Real family feeling and we felt integrated at all times. If you need some alone time or space: they want you to take as much space and privatsphere as you need and if you feel social they really appreciate everything you bring to the table, no matter if it's chatting about life, exchanging travel stories, watching a rugby or soccer game, a movie, anything interactive really.
Sasha the cutest dog ever was always up for a game outside in the garden or cuddles. She is a curious, relaxed and grateful dog. We miss spending time with her just as much as with Rhonda, Ken & Chicken. We loved the food Rhonda prepared (especially the scones for our sweet tooth haha). Tasty, flavorful and healthy meals, every day different. We felt so spoilt. Normally, they are very lively and creative people and we are so happy we came at a time where we could make their daily life a bit easier. We helped with easy chores in the house like cleaning, cooking, hung up a curtain, went grocery shopping, tidied up the shed, cleaned chooks house, removed branches and leaves that had fallen off the trees, mowed the lawn, rearranged the sanctuary and fairy garden... I'm sure if we would have stayed longer we would have enjoyed helping with more things and find other little projects. More than reasonable work, with much spare time to explore the beautiful area. We are grateful to have met great souls and the goodbye was as hard as leaving your parents house. We highly recommend to stay with Rhonda & Ken if you look for a fantastic aussie workaway experience where everything aligns. Rhonda & Ken: We are wishing you well, hope to stay in touch in the future and our paths cross again. As soon as you're back on track and whenever you want to travel Europe: You'll always have a place with us. ❤️🙏
