Hola, my name is Kristína I am passionate artist, since I was a child I loved to talk to trees and birds, I think that's the reason why I am here, to meet people that live a life deeply connected to nature, that know it's wisdom and also the courage and strength to get involved with the earth and understand it's rhythms. With my friends we dream of once taking care of a piece of land, so Workaway is a good start to learn what it needs to make that dream possible.
I am also a very good friend and listener, always here for listening to stories, wisdom, experiences and sharing mine.
I love to write poetry, dance under the moon, swim, paint and breathe the fresh air.
Always interested in spiritual and artistic stuff. Through another platform I was involved in two projects in Austria where I helped and learned on permaculture farms, I would say it changed my ways of thinking and seeing myself in and with nature a lot. I am very excited to meet new communities, families, friends that see the earth and listen to what it has to say.

My interest are plants wisdom, learning about herbs (also making tees and other stuff with it). When I was a child I learned a bit about planting seeds and taking out potatoes with my grandma. In my adult years I learned a bit about permaculture and loved everything about it. I can cook very well, play with kids and make anything artistic (also if you would need a graphic design), also I can make you a cup of ceremonial cacao :) There is a lot I would love to learn and I am open to anything.

Vom Workawayer () für Host (Help us establish our super ...)

To the finca I came with an open heart, and left with a new family, a connection that will stay as long as we are here (or maybe even beyond)

I don't even know where to start, the loving presence of the family, changed something important within me. They are inspiring me until today, to just be, to connect to my core and stay there, stay there… read more where it is important. And wow, they are doing it in such an easeful, playful and trusted way.
María, Chris & Javier are super strongly bound with the rhythms & wisdom of nature, that is felt in their words & actions so much. Their love, respect & appreciation for the gifts of nature is radiating throughout the whole finca (and beyond) and is really a guiding point throughout their days, the guiding light which defines when there is time to passionately work on a project (everything is called a project there; whetever its feeding the chickens, cutting wood, cooking or collecting wild herbs) or to take a nap or to have a family walk with the horse. Its super fascinating and inspiring for me to see how they walk through their days and super intuitively listen to, the weather, their bodies, the boys and their own needs and still get so super much done. I so much loved being a part of the magical flow of doing the project that is needed right now in this moment.

María, for me, is the embodiment of the wild mother, of the one that nourishes the family, with her songs, with her prayers, with her beautiful presence and of course with her organization (that one is super important too :) Her magic lies within so many things, but the one most powerful for me, is her questions and her ideas, that where send from a higher place. Every time I heard her saying: „Kristína, I have a question…“, I knew something profound, something that helps me to unravel the truth, something super important, is being asked. Every time we walked to the oak tree I knew, some answers to our questions will reveal, in its most pure form, and María is the one that listens, gently, with an open heart. The one that transforms then the magical ideas, send from heaven, earth, wind, water, to projects that nourish the land, the family and in the future also the people around, she is the one that trusts that everything is possible and I love her for that.

And Chris, wow, he is holding the whole family, he is the one that does it all and doesn’t really say much (but when he does it’s either super funny or really an important truth). He is the one that cares, and carries, the one who you are really excited to meet in the kitchen, cooking some fantastic traditional Andalucian food. I felt so super safe and cared for in his presence. I loved our little Spanish and English lessons, and really super much enjoyed spending time in the kitchen with him and learn from the best chef. He has the most profound music taste and im still hoping to get access to so some of his playlists one day, every song was played at the perfect matching time & situation. Every time he made a fire, I knew the whole family is together again. That´s one of the reasons why my stay really felt like coming home in so many ways. Coming home to myself, to nature, to the family, to the pure essence of it all.

And Javier, wow, I am talking about the whole family with my friends so much, but I think about Javier the most. He is the most carring, wise, helpful, charismatic 2 year old I ever met (or maybe on this planet perhaps), he is really a gift to this world, thank you María and Chris for bringing him here.
Starting or finishing projects with him was the most magical thing for me, watching him, how he knows edible plants, him being super enthusiastic about cleaning the floor, or washing the dishes, or cutting veggies, or feeding the chickens, wow. I am beyond grateful, I could experience the magic between loving parents and a loving child, I am super excited to see Javier grow, to see how he is gonna be the most genuine, humble, helpful and honest guy and how he is gonna inspire everyone around him to find that within themselves. I am excited for you to see my future children grow too, cause there will be so much of the wisdom of the tree of you flowing in.

Oh and how could I forgot the cat, the horse, mountains, the flowers, the waterfall, all of them are just breathtaking, each one of them bringing their own message. Each one guiding your way every time you need it. They are asking you to respect them, to be nourished by them, to speak your prayers to them, trust me, they will be heard. I had no idea, Spain has such marvelous mountains and forests, they are really here to be taken care for, and this the family understands so much.

What I carry within me since the stay is hard to describe with words, it is a feeling of trust, not the blind one, but the one rooted deeply inside our earth, a feeling of wanting to come closer to my essence everyday, and don’t get me wrong, there are days (even really a lot of them), since I came back where I just forget, forget what is important and walk my path in a not sacred way. But the whole finca, with every soul there, is a reminder for me, to walk every day as a prayer, thank you dear María also for reminding me a few days ago, for being the mirror I needed so much. This place is my little come back moment, when I rush through the days, chasing a goal that is not even mine. It is so much more than a memory, even while writing these words, I feel like sitting on the bench in front of the casita, feeling the breeze on my skin, watching the sun set in the distance, hearing the birds and María sing. It is a feeling I will carry in my heart forever, a feeling everyone should experience and be bathed in.

The mission is to keep the place a sacred one, one where one can just be and blossom, like a flower. As this writing already became more than a feedback, I feel free to speak my prayers here and really call in, the souls that are ready to bring in their essence, their gifts, their open heart and leave everything that is not serving themselves or anyone else at home. I call in souls that are ready to connect to what is beyond themselves and yet be responsible for who they are right now in this moment. I call in all the souls, that wish to nourish the land, the family with their presence and don’t scare away from unexpected happenings, but honor their sacredness and the rhythms of unfolding. I call in, the ones that are ready to build something that goes beyond their own existence. I call in, the ones that are willing to see themselves in clear light, and from that point move, act and speak. I call in, the ones that are willing to give & receive in a super balanced, sacred and natural way. I call in, the ones that are not only excited to learn the family’s sacred way of being and understanding themselves in this world, but also willing to listen deeply and to act upon everyones needs (cause as one very wise woman, once told me, if someone has a need, it is most likely a need of everyone else too, so it needs to be expressed and acted upon). May those souls enter the sacred doors of the finca, with a clear intention and an open heart, with a willingness so leave in all the beauty that they deserve and to leave out all the not sacred.

I am forever gratefull to be a part of this miracle, of the family, of the finca, of the Andalucian mountains. I am looking forward to see you soon, dear ones. Until then, rest well, stay excited about all of the projects that are here to unfold, and keep carrying what is important within your hearts
