My name is Kaue,I am a 18y Brazilian native of Rio de Janeiro who decided to came to Portugal to study at the University of Coimbra (Engineering).

Realizing that adult and professional life is not limited to the classroom, and since I also enjoy experiencing new things and taking certain risks, I am willing to volunteer and help incredible people that Europe has to offer—something I would unfortunately not have the opportunity to do in my country.

I consider myself a happy, energetic person who is up for any adventure and isn’t disgusted by anything.

I really enjoy reading and engaging in physical activities such as going to the gym, running, and, of course, playing football.

I consider language learning a hobby, even though I only discovered it two years ago. I can read and understand spoken language in four languages, but I feel that I lack the experience of interacting with native speakers to unlock fluency in French and Italian—something I didn’t have the opportunity to do in my country.

Was noch ...

I was part of the pastoral group at my school, which gave me the opportunity to volunteer for 5 days in the outskirts of my city. This experience taught me many things and gave me the courage to do many of the things I have done.
