Hello :)
We are Kallum (Australian) & Sally (Irish). We are coming to New Zealand in early November . We are really excited to travel New Zealand, meet local people and learn about your way of life. We met a couple of months after Sally moved to Australia and will be together two years in December.

We have each written a little bit about ourselves below:

Hi, I'm Kallum!
I'm a trained carpenter from Australia, and I love being outdoors, working with my hands, and connecting with people. I'm passionate about outdoor adventures and enjoy any kind of hands-on work—especially when it involves being in nature or working with animals.

I’m also a keen cook and love preparing meals for others, whether it's something simple or trying out new recipes. I’m always happy to help out in the kitchen or around the house.

With experience in carpentry, I bring practical skills to building, repairs, and creative projects, and I enjoy collaborating with others on meaningful tasks. I’m reliable, hardworking, and always open to learning something new.

Looking forward to meeting new people, sharing skills, and helping out wherever I can!


Hello, I'm Sally :)
I am Irish and have been living in Australia for 2 years after doing some backpacking in SE Asia.
I love being outside, going on hikes, swimming, bird watching and horse riding.
I have a degree in zoology and am super exited to learn all about the flora and fauna in New Zealand. I am especially interested in conservation of native species.
I have done many jobs over the past few years including Trail riding guide (on horseback), dairy farm hand, hospitality, biodiversity event and swim teaching.
I love learning about other cultures, gardening, cooking and art also.
Excited to meet new people and explore New Zealand!
