Hello,

my name is Jule, I am 18 years old and I come from Germany. I am currently still in school and very interested in natural sciences.

I grew up in the countryside and I am used to practical work and being outdoors. My father is a carpenter and my mother works in child and family support, so I am used to a hands-on and social environment. I also have two sisters.

I am looking for a Workaway experience where I can help, learn new skills and improve my English and especially my French in a real-life environment.

I am reliable, open-minded and enjoy helping with practical tasks. I am looking forward to meeting new people, discovering a different culture and contributing to daily life.

-I am used to working outdoors, je suis habituée à travailler dehors
-I do gardening, je fais du jardinage
-I can do light woodwork / build simple furniture, je sais faire de petits travaux de menuiserie / fabriquer des meubles simples
-I can cook simple meals, je sais cuisiner des repas simples
-I can clean / tidy up / cook, je sais nettoyer / ranger / cuisiner
-I worked 3 years at a bakery, J'ai travaillé 3 ans dans une boulangerie
-I attend a Waldorf school ( Steiner school) , je vais dans une ecole Waldorf
-I can stack/sort wood, je sais ranger le bois
-I can sculpt stone, je sais sculpter la pierre
-I can sew (by hand, electric & manual sewing machine), Je sais coudre (à la main, machine à coudre électrique & manuelle)
-I can draw / paint, je sais dessiner / peindre
-I can sculpt/model with wood and clay, je sais modeler avec du bois et de l'argile
-I am good with children,je suis à l'aise avec les enfants
-I can paint walls,je sais peindre les murs
-I have participated in grape harvesting, J'ai participé aux vendanges
-I speak English (B2/C1) and have good knowledge of French (approx. B1/2)

-I have a driver's license, J'ai le permis de conduire
-I completed a 3-week social internship in nursing at a hospital as well as a 3-day internship in the laboratory of the same clinic.
- I am also a trained first aider and volunteer with the Red Cross.
-J'ai fait un stage de 3 semaines à l'hôpital, dans les soins.
- J'ai aussi fait un stage de 3 jours au laboratoire du même hôpital.
- Je suis secouriste et je fais du bénévolat à la Croix-Rouge.
-I wrote my thesis on genetic engineering, specifically CRISPR-Cas, J'ai écrit mon mémoire sur le génie génétique -CRISPR-Cas.
- Next year, I will take my Abitur in Bavaria, L'année prochaine, je passe mon baccalauréat en Bavière.
