Currently only i Marius is out traveling, as Johanne had to continue her studies in Denmark.

Hi,
We are Johanne and Marius - a couple travelling from Denmark. We left Denmark in the end of December 2024 and have been hitchhiking all the way to Georgia. We are both curious about meeting and exchange cultures with other people. Both of us have been travelling alone and with someone else so we are used to help out and take part in other households.

Johanne
My name is Johanne and I’m 20 years old. In the moment I’m taking a break from the culinary school of Copenhagen where I’m studying to become a sustainable cook with focus on cooking plant based with local and seasonal foods. Last year I was travelling with workaway for 6 months around in Europe and the farm we are staying now was one of the workaway places. When I’m not travelling I enjoy many things such as rowing, sewing, baking sourdough breads, ice dipping, reading and spending time with friends and family.

Marius
Hi, my name is Marius i am 21 years old and from Copenhagen in Denmark. Back in Copenhagen i am working as an officer on a small ferry sailing around the canals. A love for the sea and sailing is a big part of who i am, and during the past year i sailed 5000 plus nautical miles on the fullrigger DANMARK. Other than my job sailing the ferry I am also part of the production company bagland, producing various types of films and video content.
I am eager to learn new things, and challenge myself out of my comfortzone. Lately i have been hitchhiking all over Europe, and across the west coast of the United States. This way of traveling demands being adaptable to constant changes and one gives away much of the comforts of a home.
On this trip I wish to travel in a slower manner emphasizing deeply getting to know the places I go.
