My intention for my first several workaways is to volunteer at various Monasteries or community living.

Beschreibung

I have been an educator for 25+ years. Mostly High School Biology and Chemistry. But also teaching Yoga, Wellness and Personal Growth in my community.
I love serving others.
I love nature.
I love learning.

I went through a kind and respectful divorce 4 years ago and have 2 wonderful grown sons. The youngest just left the nest and that is what prompted me to spread my wings to leave the nest MYSELF.

Living a workaway type life has always been my dream. I took each of my son's to the jungle for several weeks when they each became a teenager. One to Belize and the other to Peru.

I can't wait for this next chapter of my life to begin.

I am a native English speaker. I am learning Spanish and took French in High School into college ... but that was LOOONG ago. I am, however, a teacher. Granted I am a science teacher but I have the ability to connect with students and help them learn. I have never tried to teach English to anyone but I would certainly be open to the idea.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I am a teacher by trade. I work very well with others and I catch on quickly to new things. I enjoy gardening, painting, handyma'am tasks, simple computer work, writing and editing. I am physically strong and enjoy working. I am a good problem solver. Above all, I am flexible and easy going and happy to help out with pretty much whatever needs doing.

Was noch ...

I enjoy quiet time reading, hiking, learning and being creative. When I am with others I love conversation or playing games. Drawing/guessing games like PICTIONARY are my favorite. I also enjoy games like spades or cribbage or scrabble and I am always open to learn something new.
I also very much enjoy fitness and health.
