Hello, we are Alex and Jasmine from Brighton, England, travelling around Asia for 10 months. We are enthusiastic, reliable, eco-conscious people, keen to explore new horizons. We love trying new things, learning new skills, meeting new people, and being around nature and animals. We're both intellectual and creative people, but also enjoy completing simple, fulfilling tasks.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

Jasmine: I can learn new skills well and offer creative ideas. I have been a video editor for 10 years, I am computer literate and have excellent writing skills. I have volunteered abroad in Uganda and India doing community work, teaching and some manual labour, and in Thailand in a wildlife rescue centre. I have volunteered in England helping with manual labour and organisation at a food waste charity, campaigning for the Green Party, video editing for a documentary about refugees, and working on an organic farm in Sussex. I have a BA in Film and have completed a TELF course. I'm also a fun and social person!

Alex: I believe that I'm a quick learner and can work well with others. I have been working as a video editor for the past 13 years which involves a nice mix of working on my own and collaboratively, getting tasks completed to a deadline as well as computer and writing skills. I have a small amount of previous experience working on a farm in France and in England, and have volunteered at a food waste charity for the past 6 years which has taught me a lot about teamwork and active, physical work. I have also completed a TEFL course and a degree in film production. I like learning new things and learning from others. What I lack in experience/knowledge I can make up for with hard work and diligence and I like to see a task done properly.

Jennine: I am a dedicated, hardworking individual who works well within a team. I have worked in childcare for 13 years and developed many skills along the way that led me to becoming a Nursery Manager. I now manage a team of 15 employees and deliver training and mentoring to ensure we deliver high quality practice. My role also includes dealing with prospective customers, phone calls, writing emails, liaising with outside agencies, organising events. I have also organised independent travel to many parts of South East Asia, Indonesia and Australia where I have worked as an au pair, in hospitality and traffic control, all of which contribute to my variety of people skills and interpersonal skills.

Was noch ...

Jasmine: I enjoy most sports and games, and love being outside. I sing, play the guitar and ukulele, and write and record music. I have learnt a lot about the 'self' and mental health over the past 10 years and am a strong advocate for these things. Meeting people and being in other countries has always brought me immense joy and a sense of purpose.

Alex: I really like being out in nature, I love walking and running and have completed a few marathons. I enjoy helping others and the sense of well-being it brings. I’m interested in politics and love discussions/debates with people and learning new things. I want to feel like I’ve used some of my time in life to contribute to a better world.
