Hello! We are a roommate/friend duo from the United States (Boston and California) who study in New York. The past semester Jade has been studying in Denmark and Sadie in France. Something that motivates the both of us is cultural exchange and learning about different ways of life. We love trying new foods, meeting new people, and exchanging life experiences. We thought what better way than a workaway experience!

Was könntest du arbeiten?

Jade has extensive experience working with animals, including large livestock. She has ridden horses for many years and worked in barns since her early teens. She has experience caring for the animals as well as taking care of the property (lawn maintenance, manure shoveling, organizing and cleaning tasks).
Sadie grew up on a hobby farm/homestead with extensive vegetable and flower gardens as well as goats, chickens, and rabbits and has assisted with the maintenance of the garden as well as the care of the animals since childhood.
We live together and take care of our shared space (cooking, cleaning, organizing).
In general, we are both easygoing and flexible, and feel comfortable with both outside tasks and household work :)

Was noch ...

We both love animals and spending time outside. We enjoy reading, traveling, and learning about new cultures and ways of life! Jade is studying psychology & child development, and Sadie is studying drawing & painting. We both have spent the recent months living and studying abroad (Jade in Copenhagen and Sadie in Paris), and have loved exploring our respective cities but are excited to see new places!
