Hello everyone! My name is Iris and I am a 23 y/o woman from Greece. I am a certified teacher of English, so I would love to offer help by teaching English (or even Greek) to other people, especially children or people with limited educational oppurtunities. I view travelling, especially in nature, as a way to collect growing experiences and knowledge and as a way to open my ''third eye'' by adopting awakening perspectives which connect me with Mother Nature and Universe. I am big fan of free camping (at beach or forest) and I love hikings, gardening, spending time with animals (I have 7 dogs in my village) , swimming, enjoying sun, generally, participating in adventurous activities. Besides that, I am a very artistic person; I dance flamenco, afrobrasilian,latin and greek folklore dances, I write poems , I play theatre (mainly focused on the Theatre of the Oppressed) and I experiment with music production. In this period of my life I also read a lot about energy healing, chakras and theosophy. Generally, I view life as a beatiful journey full of knowledge which offers us so many lessons and experiences that strengthen our souls, help us handle difficult situations and live freely... Life is miraculous..

I am certified teacher of English. Most specifically, I have taught English in a Greek public school during my 2months internship. Also, I have participated in workshops in a prison school in which I taught English by employing the Drama in Education and Forum Theatre approach. I can also teach Greek and I am very intersted in improving my Spanish and Portuguese!

Was könntest du arbeiten?

As I have mentioned in my profile description, I can teach people English or Greek. I have exptertised in teaching languages by using the ''Drama in Education'' approach and Forum Theatre (Theatre of the Oppressed). I can also teach dance (afrobrasilian, greek folklore) and engage people in theatrical games and improvisations. Besides that, I love gardening and animal caring or other activities that are relevant with Nature (element of earth or water).Moreover, I am a very communicative and outgoing person with organisation skills. Additionally, I used to be responsible for music production, streaming and podcasting in a web radio station (DesperadosMusica).

Was noch ...

I think I have covered everything hahah, generally I am very curious person who loves exploring new staff, new music, food, cultures, dances.. I really love reading anthropological or ethnographic studies and I have attended classes about the literature and culture of Native Americans. For this reason , I would be love to be hosted in communities of indigenous people, because I see it as a chance to explore new lenses of human nature and cosmology.
