I am a sociable and creative person who loves spending time outdoors, reading and writing as well as working with my hands. I love spending time with friends, having a few drinks and sharing stories.

Beschreibung

Hi, my name is Hazel and I am currently working in the Film Industry in Ireland. I am looking to take some time off and explore another country, spend time in nature and make new connections.

I have experience in filmmaking/ photography, so if you are seeking someone to help promote your business I would be happy to help.

This would be my first Workaway, however I took part in a volunteer project in Tanzania in 2023 where I assisted in the development of a farm; I helped clear land and plant crops, I also spent a lot of time meeting and hanging out with local people. Other than that, most of my experience prior to filmmaking was in the hospitality sector as well as outdoor education.

I am available from June, and would love to stay somewhere for a couple of weeks or longer!

With English as your mother tongue it is quite difficult to become fluent in other languages, as English is unfortunately so ubiquitous! However, I studied French and Irish in school and can speak a bit of both. I am currently learning Italian, and would like to continue to do so! I have always had an interest in how people communicate, in colloquialisms and accents- whenever I travel I enjoy picking up a few words in other languages as well as sharing some unique Irish-isms.
