We are currently situated in Germany and wanting to spend as much time as we can during Autumn outside doing activities like gardening, or inside cooking, cleaning etc!

Beschreibung

We are a young Australian couple currently travelling Europe for the first time. Our names are Luke and Harpah and we are both 22 years old. We currently have working holiday visas for Germany that expire in July next year. We both have 4 years of experience in the hospitality industry from bar tending, to baristing to cooking and more.
We're both adventurous people who love exploring nature, going on hikes and bouldering. We are super excited to see all the beautiful natural landscapes throughout Europe and engage in cultural exchange.
We both love animals and have always had pets in our lives, caring for many different animals. Harpah grew up on a large property with many animals including sheep, pigs and chickens and has looked after and nursed many baby animals in her life. We would be enthusiastic to work with all kinds of animals and learn more about caring for them.
The two of us are both interested in art, and are creative. Luke recently got his Diploma in Graphic design and Harpah is always working on a new creative project whether it be pottery, jewelry making or painting. We are hard working and very eager to learn new things, especially about regenerative farming and permaculture as we both would like to have our own farm and gardens in the future. We can handle basic tools but are enthusiastic to learn skills in renovation/building with some guidance!

Was könntest du arbeiten?

We have both worked in the hospitality/customer service industry for many years. Due to this we have skills in prepping food and drinks aswell as serving customers and cleaning. Cooking is both a skill and an cherished pastime for us, we value fresh ingredients and nourishing food and eat a predominantly vegetarian diet. We are both happy to be kitchen hands and cook for others!
Luke has his Diploma in Graphic design and is an skilled artist. He has also volunteer experience helping the elderly with electronics during his school days and has volunteered in homeless shelters before.

We both have experience caring for animals and house sitting. Harpah grew up on a big property caring for a variety of animals including sheep, pigs, chickens, cats and dogs in Tasmania, Australia, and is the extremely considerate and gentle with them. Luke has had pets his whole life but would love to learn to care for goats, chickens, ducks, horses, donkeys & pigs. We are both wanting to expand our skills in building and restoration as we both seek to live a simple farm life in the future.
We consider our greatest skill our willingness to learn and enthusiasm to involve ourselves fully in our stay. We are both physically fit and strong, and thoroughly enjoy being outdoors.

  Harpah is vegetarian and is allergic to milk and Luke eats a primarily vegetarian diet but sometimes eats chicken or fish. We are more then happy to help out and cook to assist with these dietary requirements.
