Hola a todes,

me llamo Giulia, tengo 33 y soy de la parte italiana de Suiza. Estoy viajando de mochilera por America Latina recorriendo el Qhapaq Ñan (sistema vial andino o camino principal de los Incas). Me encanta todo lo que tiene que ver con la historia ancestral de los pueblos pre-colombinos, la cosmovisión andina y el arte textil.

Soy educadora social y en mi trabajo me he enfocado prevalentemente en la promoción de los derechos de la niñez y de la adolescencia. He trabajado también varios años en desarrollo humano en Centro America.

Estoy aprovechando este viaje para voluntariar y desempeñarme en diferentes disciplinas. De momento, he voluntariado en un eco-hostal y en un refugio de animales silvestres.

Soy una chica muy curiosa, abierta a lo nuevo y un poco soñadora :) En general me fascina la historia y la cultura de los pueblos, conversar con las personas y conocer de ellas. Me gusta también el contacto con la naturaleza y los animales. En el trabajo me gusta cumplir con lo que me propongo hacer, por lo tanto soy una persona bastante ordenada y puntual.

PS: domino muy bien el español! Quiero entrenar mi inglés!

Hello everyone,

My name is Giulia, I'm 33 and I'm from the Italian part of Switzerland. I am backpacking through Latin America touring the Qhapaq Ñan (Andean road system or main path of the Incas). I love everything that has to do with the ancestral history of pre-Columbian peoples, the Andean worldview and textile art.

I am a social educator and in my work I have focused predominantly on the promotion of the rights of children and adolescents. I have also worked for several years in human development in Central America.

I am taking advantage of this trip to volunteer and work in different disciplines. At the moment, I have volunteered at an eco-hostel and at a wildlife refuge.

I am a very curious girl, open to new things and a bit of a dreamer :) In general I am fascinated by the history and culture of people, talking with people and learning about them. I also like contact with nature and animals. At work I like to accomplish what I set out to do, therefore I am a fairly organized and punctual person.

PS: I speak Spanish very well! I want to train my English!
