Beschreibung

I am a 20 year old german how does 2 years of traveling after highschool.
I worked one year in Canada to save up some money for traveling one year in Southamerica.
In Canada many friends recomended me Workaway. So i got to try it.
I enjoy beeing in nature and learning things about it. I worked in Canada for the summer as a guide. We tried to find bears. That was alot of fun.
Right now i am traveling with a motorcycle through Mexico (i am almost done), wich i really like too. I am planning on studying mechanical engineering after i am done traveling. So i found most things related to machiens interresting.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I can fix thing, as i am doing a lot on the motorcycle. During my guiding job we also fixt a lot. The boats we where using to find the bears needed a decent amount of repair. Because it was a small buissnes the guides usually did that part.
In the Winter i worked as a snowmaker in a skiresort. There we had to deal with machines on a bigger scale. So i learned a bit about heavy duty mechanics (not crazy much. We manly maintained the snowguns).
I have as well some experience in woodwork. With my dad in germany we cut down trees to make Firewood. Of course the chainsaws needed repairs as well.
During covid i was quit bored. So i did grow tabaco to make cigars. It was interesting. The fermentation process was totaly new to me. That means i have a little bit gardening experience as well.
I am able to speak german, english and a begginner level of spanish.
I like to cook as well. My mom is unfourtunely not a great cook, so i needed to learn cooking on my own. I am always happy when i can learn new ways of cooking from different people. I try always to cook vegetarian and vegan. I am missing a little bit of expertise and ideas for new recepies. So if someone tells me new one i am always happy.
