Beschreibung

Hi, we are Faye (21) and Sten (21), both from the Netherlands. We went to high school together and have been together for more than 4.5 years now. We currently live in a studio together in Den Bosch, from where we both studied in different cities. Here we enjoy spending time together, whilst cooking, and going out for picknicks and on evening walks. We are currently taking a gap year together and would love to travel the world. We would love to help with animal care, household chores and maintenance tasks. Besides that, we can also work outside in the garden or around the house. If there is any need for tutoring or taking care of children, we are happy to help too.

Now a bit about both of us as people:

I (Sten) have grown up in the Netherlands but have been brought up bilingually (with an English mother). For the past three years I studied Electrical Engineering in Eindhoven. Here I was surrounded by a lot of international students from all around the world, with whom I always find myself chatting about the different cultures and backgrounds. As a person, I am quite talkative, positive, outgoing and always willing to help. Following this, I have tutored at university level and also been a mentor for first year students. Besides that, I enjoy spending time outdoors on hikes, on the water or anywhere for that matter. I have cycled all my life on racing bikes, mountain bikes and going on cycling holidays every single summer. Recently, I have also picked up tennis.

I (Faye) have just graduated as an International Business Administration student. As a person, I am enthusiastic, hands-on, perfectionistic and organized. I have been tutoring elementary and high school students for over 4 years now. I get a lot of joy from seeing them progress and get more confident in their abilities. Next to this, I love to do karate, do crafts, read, and spend time with animals. I even earned my black belt in karate in 2023. Also here, I love to teach others the art of karate. Growing up, I have always had pets around the house. Currently, we have two bunnies, called Kip and Muis, and a cat called Kiki. I really adore them and love spending time with animals. In my youth I was quite fixed on staying in the Netherlands. However last year, I spent a semester in Prague for an Erasmus Exchange, which was really an eye opener for me. I enjoyed meeting people and living in a foreign country so much that, this has really triggered my interest to explore the world. And now that’s our plan!
