⚠️- NOT LOOKING ANYMORE- On my way to Austria !!


Hi, I'm Eva, I'm 23, I'm French and at the moment I'm doing a MA in Modern Languages, specialising in Resources, Environment and Societies in Transition at Grenoble Alpes University. I come from the Arcachon Basin, so I'm more of a ‘sun and sea’ girl, but every landscape has its beauty. Living in Grenoble for the past few months, the opportunity to admire the magnificent mountains is omnipresent. In 10 qualities, I am :

No trips are planned, but I'm open to workaways in all the countries I've mentioned, i.e. in Europe. I want to do a workaway because, as part of my studies, I have to do a 2-month internship to complete my year, which could be carried out by volunteering.
Why workaway? To take part actively in eco-responsible projects, and so move on from the theoretical/immaterial to the concrete/physical.

Unfortunately, I believe in the general collapse of our societies, but despite this inevitable future on a more or less long term scale, I'm a fundamentally positive and optimistic person, driven by the desire to protect our world. For me, its magnificence deserves to be protected, respected and considered, just like all living beings, because for me the value of life is important.
As well as validating my year through workaway, my aim is also to have an enriching experience and to do my bit for the project of which I'll be a part.

About my hobbies and favourite pastimes, I'm passionate about football and basketball, having played them for 4 and 13 years respectively, I love watching films and TV series and I love anything to do with space/planets/astrophysics. I love to hike, feeling in connection with nature and admiring how wonderful and beautiful our world is. Moreover, I'm a curious and open-minded person, so I have no worries about having fun doing a variety of activities. I like sport in general, having been a sporty person since childhood, so I'm pretty good at / Have good skills in basketball, football, table tennis, athletics, cycling, orienteering, chess, hiking and beach tennis. I consider myself to be a citizen of the world, and discovering the world on my travels and preserving it is what drives me.

Lastly, I'm also a big fan of video games, particularly Mario, Zelda, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings and No Man's Sky, but I don't mind doing without it. I'm not averse to reading good books and I'm also creative, so I don't mind a bit of drawing, pottery or painting either.

I've never done a WorkAway before, but I've already been an Au Pair in Ireland for 8 months (September 2023-May 2024), during which time I travelled all over Ireland, mostly on my own. So far, I've travelled to Scotland on a 10-day roadtrip, to Switzerland on a two-month internship, to Spain for 15 days as part of 2 language study trips, to Thailand for 10 days and finally to Italy on a one-week school trip almost 10 years ago.
