I’m currently doing an internship at the German State Theatre in Timișoara and am interested in travelling around Eastern Europe in July :)

Beschreibung

Hello there! My name is Eva, I’m 24 years old and I’m studying to become a teacher of German and Political Education in Dresden. I’ve also completed a supplementary degree in theatre studies, specialising in theatre education. I’m currently in Timișoara at the German State Theatre doing an internship, where I run theatre workshops in schools, help out with dramaturgy and generally lend a hand wherever I’m needed! :)

After my internship, I’d love to travel to another part of Romania, which is why Workaway is perfect for me – it lets me combine travelling with working, meeting new people and immerse myself in a whole new area/place.

I would describe myself as a creative, open-hearted, warm and sometimes slightly scatterbrained person who is very curious and loves to throw myself into the unknown and little adventures. On the one hand, I can be very extroverted (especially when I feel at ease), but at the same time I also have an introverted side that loves spending time on my own when it all gets too much, reading, writing and simply being by myself.

In my spare time, I enjoy going for a run, being out in the fresh air, writing a bit of poetry, playing the violin, going to the theatre, swimming, cooking and meeting up with my friends.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

During my studies, I have already completed numerous work placements in various schools, ranging from primary schools to special schools for children with physical and intellectual disabilities,as well as secondary schools. I also spent some time giving guided tours and running workshops at the Hygiene Museum in Dresden, and directed a play with children and young people as part of an autumn holiday workshop, so I have plenty of experience working with children and young people, as well as interacting with strangers and having a good time with strangers who become known valued persons.

Otherwise, I am friendly, love learning new things and sharing my interests with others. I am happy to help with tasks such as cooking, cleaning, gardening, childcare, household duties, looking after pets, or even creative activities like acting or crafting. I enjoy taking responsibility and am good at organising things. One of my greatest strengths is my spontaneity, which means I cope well with new and challenging situations, can find solutions quickly and am a quick learner.
