Hello wonderful workaway hosts!
I am 30 years old with dreams of living in Spain. I have visited twice and would like to explore a little more and get to know different regions. I do not currently speak Spanish, but for some failed attempts on duolingo. I speak English and a bit of French which I am currently exercising in Paris.

I love meeting new people and exploring different cultures. I am looking forward to learning new skills and sharing what knowledge and skills I have to offer.

I love spending my time amongst friends, family, and nature. I write poetry, dabble in arts and crafts, crochet, cook, bake, and play sports.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I have worked in kitchens, bakeries, and restaurants front of house. I have tree planted, worked as an educational assistant and run my own gluten free bakery from home. I have also done free lance catering for groups up to 150 people. I also write poetry and have one published book and recently had my first visual poetry exhibit!

Work exchange and volunteer work I have done include: earthship build, home farm stay, child care, knit group leader, MDAM (mood disorders association Manitoba) womens group leader, and more!

Most recently the work I do involves my own personal journey of mindfulness and compassionate response. I love the work of Martha Beck, Tara Brach, and Brenee Brown.

Was noch ...

As for hobbies and games... I love so much! Currently, I am obsessed with crochet :) I can listen to books and podcasts endlessly while working with my hands and it brings me such peace and joy! I have taught crochet in the past and would be more than happy to share this skill.

I also love playing sports, all sports really, hanging around with friends, inventing delicious dishes in the kitchen, and listening to music. I am a poet and write songs and poems almost daily :) I love to learn about other people's interests and try new things. I'd really love to learn silver smithing next.
