Hi! I’m Citlali, a 30-year-old from the Netherlands, and I started my first big solo adventure through New Zealand on a Working Holiday Visa.

I’m passionate about meeting new people, forming meaningful connections, and embracing new experiences. I’ve travelled through Europe, spent time with family in Mexico, and explored Thailand — and now I’m excited to immerse myself in the nature, culture, and community of Aotearoa.

My background is in Molecular Biology (MSc), and for the past four years, I’ve worked in research on neurological diseases and cancer. While I’ve loved that work, this trip is a chance for me to try something completely different — hands-on, community-based experiences where I can learn new skills, help out, and grow in new ways.

I'm open-minded, enthusiastic, and happy to get involved with a wide range of tasks. Whether it’s gardening, animal care, cooking, organizing, helping with events, or learning something new on the go — I’m in!

In my free time, I love swimming, music, hiking, kickbox, crafts, board games, and spending time with animals (though I’ll be missing my cat, who’s staying with his grandparents).
