Beschreibung

Hi! My name is Wallace, I’m from Brazil and I’ve been living and traveling abroad for the past years. Adventure, photography and meaningful connections are a big part of my life.

I’m a sports photographer, drone pilot and storyteller, and I also created my own travel brand called “Apenas Vá” (“Just Go”), which is all about courage, freedom and following your dreams. During my journeys, I’ve lived in countries like New Zealand, Croatia, Switzerland and now Germany, always balancing work with travel and creating projects along the way.

I love meeting new people, learning languages, cooking, outdoor activities, hiking and exploring nature. I enjoy working with my hands as much as I do with creativity — whether it’s helping with photography, social media, events, gardening, or practical daily tasks.

People usually describe me as positive, easy-going, respectful and responsible, but also very motivated to grow and learn from every experience. For me, Workaway is not just about exchange, but about sharing stories, building memories and leaving something good wherever I go.

We live once, right? So we need to do all the things we want to. We can't be afraid of living. We won't take anything material from this life, just our memories, the things we have done in life, the smiles, our travel experiences. So, my purpose in life is just to live life rather than just surviving.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I have experience in different areas that I believe can be useful during a Workaway exchange. I’ve worked as a professional sports photographer and drone pilot, which gave me a creative eye and strong attention to detail, but I’m also very comfortable with people and communication. I’ve worked a lot in bars, helped in hostels and I enjoy being around guests, welcoming them, helping with reception tasks and creating a good atmosphere. I’m the kind of person who adapts easily — I like being outside, doing practical work, helping with gardening, maintenance or whatever is needed. I also used to teach elderly people with technology (computers, mobiles and stuff like that).

For more than 10 years I practiced Taekwondo and even taught classes for children and young people, which taught me discipline, patience and how to guide others with motivation. Another big part of my life is my own travel brand (Apenas Vá / Just Go), so I’m used to creating content, writing, and sharing ideas through social media. At the same time, I want to develop new skills — one of them is cooking. I’m not experienced yet, but I really want to learn, and I’m always happy to help in the kitchen, preparing meals and trying new recipes.

Overall, I’m open-minded, positive, and curious to learn. For me, every new place is an opportunity to grow, to exchange skills and to connect with people in an authentic way.
