Hi,
My name is Caroline. I grew up on the beautiful Island of Jersey so, hence I love Island life. Although, saying that I have lived in Spain and Portugal for 10 years and as they are mainland, I tend to find myself always living very near the ocean. Beaches are one of my happy places. In my free time I like nothing more than walking along the beach collecting sea glass, drift wood and pretty shells.
Hobbies: I love to paint abstract (I have an art degree) and write. I write mostly, about what I see and feel. Nature inspires me. I recently had the opportunity to go sailing. I spent 4 months in the summer sailing around in the Atlantic visiting Madeira and The Canary Islands. I really enjoyed the experience and would love to do more sailing in the future.
The other thing that I love to experience is different cultures. I have already travelled to many countries in my life. I like to meet local people, taste local food and visit interesting historical sights.
Job: Primary Teaching has also enabled me to travel. Currently: I work from home, teaching English online and helping people have better health (with health products). I am interested in healing and am a Havening Practitioner. I also like to participate in meditation.

Was könntest du arbeiten?
I'm a practical hands-on person with common sense. I can apply myself to most things and I am happy to try. I once volunteered on an overseas aid project in Africa. I found myself digging a cesspit for a hospital. Also building walls for teachers accommodation. It was great fun. I've been a primary school teacher for nearly 20 years, so I think I'm pretty creative; I created fun and interactive displays for the kids and created fun lesson plans, as well as all the usual hard work that goes with teaching.
I'm respectful; I've worked with many people from different religions, cultures, race and background.
Able to: make murals, garden, cook, clean, some childcare duties, do admin, help with basic IT skills, paint, good communication skills, ...

Was noch ...
I think I mentioned most of my interests already. So I will tell you about my favourite board game that I play with my best friend. It's called Bananagram. It is great fun. She always beats me though because she is quicker at thinking of words than I am. I hope to beat her one day. I also recently learnt how to play Mexican Train, with dominoes that is also good fun, but requires a lot of concentration.
