Hi! I'm Basia, a super positive and open-minded traveler who’s not afraid of hard work. What I love most about traveling is not just seeing new places but truly becoming part of the local culture.

With 10 years of experience in hospitality—working as a chef, bartender, manager, kitchen helper, winery intern, and more, I’ve learned the value of my creativity, hard work, adaptability, fast problem solving (there is no sink I cannot repair during busy Friday shift 😂). I'm a natural troubleshooter and a creative soul, passionate about photography, drawing, and content creation, art and expressing myself makes me breathe so if there is anything that involved paint, camera or dance i can help with I would be delighted!

Growing up in a village, I’m very familiar with handy work, gardening, and taking care of animals. I love nature and the outdoors, and I’m always eager to learn about plants, their uses, foraging and herbalism. But I also just want to experience and learn all skills I didn't have occasion to learn before!

Connecting with people comes very easy to me. I love spreading my positive energy whenever I go.

I’m excited to meet all beautiful people and build meaningful friendships in New Zealand.

By profession, I’m a Master of Nutrition and Food Technology, and I’m a true food enthusiast who appreciates local ingredients and discovering new flavors. I’m vegetarian (but comfortable working with meat), a yoga and green tea lover, and a seeker of beauty and wild experiences.

I have many incredible stories to share, and I can’t wait to create new, life-changing memories on this journey

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I’m a hands-on, creative, and adaptable person who loves learning and sharing knowledge. With a strong background in hospitality, I’ve worked as a chef, bartender, manager, and winery intern, gaining expertise in cooking, menu creation, sustainable solutions, and team training. Teaching and guiding others come naturally to me—I’ve trained bar staff, helped with creative projects, and assisted in various roles.

Beyond hospitality, I have a range of practical skills. I repair things in my apartment whenever possible, have experience with small building projects, and enjoy working with my hands. I also have a deep appreciation for food, especially sourdough baking and working with natural ingredients.

Creativity is one of my strongest assets—I love photography, drawing, writing, and content creation, and I’m always excited to help with anything artistic. I connect easily with people, learn quickly, and am always ready to lend a hand wherever needed.

No task is too small or too big—I enjoy problem-solving and making a positive impact in any way I can!

I’m a mixologist with a passion for crafting drinks, but I also love the outdoors—hiking and horse riding bring me joy and a sense of adventure. At the same time, I enjoy quieter moments like reading books, cooking together, and playing board games.
