Beschreibung

For me volunteering is a wonderful opportunity to travel and learn more about the world.
I like nature, staying outdoors, taking long walks and cycling, talking to people and getting to know new places and having adventures. I also enjoy reading, singing, working with my hands (handcrafting) and learning languages.
I've finished psychology and pedagogical studies and I am now a youth worker at Youth and Volunteering Center in my hometown. I love my job, but I do miss travelling and helping in different ways. I wish to use my knowledge and skills and at the same time learn more about other cultures and traditions, as well as practice foreign languages.

I do feel like the more I know, the more I still have to learn, that is why I hope to never stop volunteering in new places and meeting new people to share and gain new experiences :)

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I have volunteered in India and Myanmar (2020), Israel, Jordan and Egypt (2019), before that I was volunteering for 8 months in various places in Portugal, 3 months in Italy, 4 months doing internship at a university in Turkey, as well as worked in Norway and United Kingdom. I am quick to adapt to new places and different cultures, and can easily talk to people.

I've experience in many different types of volunteer work: hospitality, gardening, teaching, house maintenance, even construction work, harvest, etc., and I can work well individually or with a team. When I don't know how to do something, I'm always eager and happy to learn it :)

For a few years I was working as a consultant and coordinator in several different companies and public institutions, I have very good communication and organizational skills, I'm also good with computers and various office work.
At the moment my main occupation is a youth worker, so I am good with talking to teenagers, helping to solve problems, managing difficult situations, organizing various events, etc.

I started volunteering in 2011, and I still try to whenever I can, but now it is mostly in my hometown :)
I had different accounts before (while volunteering with others), but I can send the feedback I have if necessary.
