Hiya! Our names are Anna (22) and Phee (23) and we are two friends from school travelling in New Zealand from the UK, excited to join in the kiwi way of life and immerse ourselves in local communities through Workaway!
We've been passionate about visiting New Zealand and exploring all this beautiful country has to offer since we were 17! Now, both graduated and in our early 20’s we decided to follow our plan to visit!

Anna studied architecture at university, with a key focus on sustainable and environmentally friendly practices, and loves anything creative so you’ll often find her with a sketchbook! We are both big readers and would love to hear your book recommendations/share our own. Phee studied history at university and is especially interested in east asian history after spending a year abroad in Japan. She is also an avid writer and is excited to find inspiration in the beautiful New Zealand scenery.

We are excited to learn more about New Zealand’s nature and way of life. As big fans of the outdoors, we are looking for opportunities to help protect the environment and ways to explore some less travelled hidden gems.

We can bring an eager attitude and always love a challenge. Both of us enjoy cooking (a lot) and are happy to help with chores. We are eager to get stuck in and learn more about New Zealand culture and way of life!

Was könntest du arbeiten?

We have experience working in hospitality, housekeeping, running tours and retail. Phee has experience working on social justice projects and Anna has a good understanding of construction, environmental and passive design. In recent years we've grown a love for gardening: notably, Phee managed to grow a tomato plant from scratch on her window ledge in central London (despite it falling three times!)
