Beschreibung

Hello! We are Anna (25) and Giacomo (29), a couple from the Tuscan countryside, near the beautiful city of Siena. We’ve been together since 2020 and share our home with our dog Dido and three cats. We live surrounded by nature and take care of a large garden where we grow vegetables and some fruit—looking after living things is something that comes naturally to us.

We enjoy spending time together through simple, meaningful activities: walking in nature, watching movies, and sharing time with friends. Hiking is one of our biggest passions, and whenever possible we organize trips that allow us to explore landscapes slowly, on foot. We are active and energetic people, but we also value calm moments, like reading, listening to music, or relaxing in the sun.

We both have practical and creative sides. Anna loves cooking and reading, while Giacomo plays the drums and works with photography and videomaking. We are curious by nature and enjoy meeting people from different backgrounds, learning from shared experiences, and adapting to new environments with an open and positive attitude.

What gives us the most satisfaction is feeling useful and knowing we’ve taken good care of the people, animals, and places around us (including our plants!). We enjoy DIY projects and have spent the last few years renovating our house by ourselves, learning along the way. One of our favorite projects is a porch with a fire pit, where we often host long summer dinners with friends.

Looking ahead, we can imagine starting a family one day, but for now we feel a strong need to travel, explore, and experience different ways of living and working. We like to give our best in everything we do, to be reliable and proactive, and to approach life with curiosity and enthusiasm.

Happiness is only real when shared, and we would be happy to share it with you.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

We are used to working hard, getting our hands dirty, and adapting quickly to new environments and people. We both have extensive experience working with the public, which has taught us flexibility, communication skills, and a practical, solution-oriented mindset. When something needs to be done, we focus on how to make it work, simply and efficiently.

Cooking is a big part of our daily life. We are confident cooks and especially enjoy using fresh, local ingredients. We have solid knowledge of plants, herbs, vegetable gardens, and how to bring what comes from the land straight into the kitchen. Growing, harvesting, and cooking are all connected for us. Having grown up in Tuscany, we also have hands-on agricultural experience, including several olive harvests and grape harvests, which are a natural part of life where we come from.

We are comfortable with physical work and actually enjoy it, especially outdoors. Gardening, basic DIY and small building or maintenance tasks are familiar to us, and we approach them with care, common sense, and enthusiasm. We also have experience taking care of animals, having worked as house sitters and pet sitters, and we are reliable, attentive, and calm in these roles.

Anna has a strong background in retail and customer service. She worked for a design and artisan company, developing sales skills, aesthetic sensitivity, and attention to detail. At 19, she lived in London as an au pair, where she worked as a housekeeper and babysitter for two young girls. During that time, she also taught them Italian, gaining valuable experience in childcare, responsibility, and intercultural living.

Giacomo studied history and art and is currently training to become a teacher. He works as a photographer, videomaker, and musician, and has experience with visual storytelling and creative projects. He also has some experience as a social media manager and is comfortable using computers and digital tools for organization, communication, and content creation.

We both speak and write English fluently and are used to living and working in international contexts. We bring energy, curiosity, respect, and a genuine desire to contribute wherever we go. We like to be useful, to learn from others, and to share skills, work, and good conversations along the way.

Was noch ...

In our free time, we are deeply connected to nature. We love trekking, spending long days outdoors, swimming in the sea, and simply slowing down to watch sunsets or look at the night sky, pointing out constellations and enjoying quiet moments. Being outside, moving our bodies, and feeling part of the landscape is something we truly need.

We are also big lovers of cinema, both at home and in movie theaters. Watching films and series is one of our favorite ways to relax and share time together, and we enjoy talking about what we watch, from stories and characters to visuals and ideas. Dancing is another thing we love doing, especially when there’s good music (Anna is definitely the better dancer, but Giacomo keeps up with enthusiasm).

We enjoy board games, spending time with other people, laughing, and creating simple moments of connection. Giacomo also enjoys playing video games in moderation and reading comics, which for him are another form of storytelling and creativity.

Overall, we are curious, playful, and easygoing people who appreciate both active days and calm evenings, meaningful conversations and lighthearted fun.
