Hey there, welcome to our profile!

Let us introduce ourselfes: We're Gio (26) and Alma (24) and we just started a little adventure together! Some years ago we met during our bachelors programme of leisure science (it's a mixture of tourism and cultural studies, in case you were wondering), fell in love quite quickly, finished said programme of leisure science and bought a campervan.

Even though we love our beautiful hometown of Bremen in the north of Germany, we decided to leave everything behind, moved into our beloved campervan called Willi-Wilma and headed south (escaping german winter u know...). So now we are searching to find beautiful places and inspring people 🌞

*Note: We're not new to Workaway... We've had individual accounts before, but since we started a joined couple account all the feedback and everything is sadly gone, but don't let that fool you! ;) We've had great experiences at smaller and bigger eco-farms as well as at hostels and yoga-retreats in Slovenia, Croatia, Greece and Portugal.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I'd say, we come in with the handy ability to be able to fix (almost) everything! Since Gio grew up on a farm and has worked on several, he's used to the different tasks of farmlife and Alma grew up as the daughter of a mother with the most crazy DIY ideas. In short: we know our way around tools, love woodwork, plants and animals, know some things about construction, plumbing, and electricity and made our 33 year old car ready and running.

Also, as mentioned before, we were studying the international degree programme of applied leisure science. So in addition to tourism and leisure in general we have some good knowledge about community living and volunteering structures (Gio's bachelor thesis) as well as ethical-yoga-retreat design (Alma's bacherlor thesis).
More skills and fields we've worked in: web-development, videography & graphic-design, social-media & online-marketing, event-management, guestkeeping and Alma is a great chef, too!

Oh and Alma says that this is not a real real job application so we'd like to add that we are also more than happy with your little tasks, with just a homely atmosphere. Because after all what we love most are tiny adventures, sitting at a bonfire, chatting or maybe even making music! 🌱

Was noch ...

Between the two of us Alma is the creative and artsy soul. She likes to work with different mediums and is currently into making her own jewellery.
Gio plays a variety of instruments and is always down for a jam!
