Beschreibung

Hi, I’m Ada from China. As a single mom, easy going, love nature, kids, animals and outdoor activities. I’ve become confident and skilled in many areas of daily life — from housekeeping, cooking, and decorating to child care and tutoring. Managing a home and raising my son has taught me how to stay organized, patient, and creative.

After my son entered a boarding middle school, I finally have time to focus on my own development. I plan to apply for a Master of Secondary Education in New Zealand next year. Before that, I’d like to immerse myself in the cultural diversity of this lovely country, meet kind people in daily living and community life.

I spent several weeks helping out on the big farms and gardens, I learned many skills----------------------------------
WHAT I CAN OFFER:
Gardening: building fences, paving paths, weeding, planting, watering

Tool Use & Maintenance: humble learning and using new tools or equipment

Housekeeping: daily routines, laundry, organizing, and maintaining a tidy home, as well as house-sitting

Cooking: healthy family-style (Chinese )meals, baking cakes and cookies, general kitchen help, and grocery organization

Child Care & Tutoring: caring for children, helping with homework, and creative crafts

Decorating : room arrangement, handmade projects, simple repairs

Small renovations: painting walls, wallpapering, deep cleaning the whole house

I’m a fast learner, hard worker, fit and not afraid of heavy tasks. For me, Workaway is not only a travel experience, but a chance to contribute, share practical skills, and keep learning from others.

If you’re interested in Chinese Buddhism or Daoism, that’s a bonus — I can share some Buddhist meditation techniques that are great for the mind, and Daoist practices that help strengthen the body.
