Beschreibung

We are an adventurous couple looking to deepen our connection with the natural world by embracing new experiences and exploring hidden corners of our beautiful planet.

We are fueled by curiosity, uncovering the mysteries and treasures around us. We love to stop to identify wild flowers, peer into the dense tangles of moss at the tiny universe of insects, and listen to the sound of water gurgle, crash and pound.

Growing up in communal societies, we have developed an understanding of providing for the collective, or finding our own unique way to contribute. Adam brings hands-on skills in DIY projects, construction, (you name it) while Divya brings culinary know-how and a patient, attentive presence to caregiving. We both speak German and English (fluently) and love exploring a diverse array of conversational topics. We both completed our Master's studies in Sustainability Science at Leuphana University Lüneburg and are looking for ways to connect our theoretical perspectives with real world examples and lifestyles.

We're interested in learning Spanish. Divya speaks and understands several South Asian languages, and can teach those she is fluent in. We are both native English speakers and able to teach the language as well.

Adam
Skilled at working with my hands. Experience in construction, assembly, demolition, painting, mechanical repairs. Grew up gardening and farming: caring for animals, planting, weeding, tending, harvesting. Strong, able bodied, keen to put my energy into practical things but also happy to take on caretaking roles. Speaks English and German fluently.

Divya:
Skilled at crafts, with an aptitude for culinary practices. Transformed recipes to plant based requirements. Orderly by nature and in practice. Likes learning new things continuously, taking care of plants and animals. Keen on learning about foraging and deepening knowledge of ecology.
Fluent in: English, Hindi, Malayalam,German (intermediate), Korean (beginner)

We love getting out and exploring the local scenery.
Adam grew up in the mountains of Catskill, N.Y. and is always looking for an opportunity to gain altitude. Divya was born in the forests of Kerala and has a passion for rocks and climbing. She has also tutored grade school children in mathematics and the sciences.
