My goal is to immerse and educate myself on how to live a more decentralized, self-sufficient lifestyle. I love nature, hiking/walking, animals, researching/learning and eating wholesome organic foods. I am spiritually oriented and embrace an introspective, conscious way of living as I evolve and grow along my journey.

Though new to Workaway, in the past I have travelled to various parts of British Columbia including the Sunshine Coast and Vancouver Island. I have travelled to California to attend a meditation retreat and to volunteer with a conservation group assisting in trail construction and removing weeds. I worked at an organic farm in Nakusp, weeding vegetables and cleaning garlic.

My first Workaway was in Gibsons this year, assisting an elderly couple with housework as well as various tasks/projects around their property. I am currently still in Gibsons working on a sustainable farm caring for goats, sheep, chickens, miniature horses and lambs!

For those seeking help with computer/internet related tasks, I can offer assistance in that area along with general admin work. Though limited in farm experience, I recently completed my first season where I primarily weeded carrots/beets/onions and cleaned lots of garlic and absolutely loved it! The work was satisfying and being out in nature all day was so enjoyable. I aspire to learn more about various aspects of a self-sufficient lifestyle including food production, off-grid living and more.
