Izzy and James stayed with us for just under four weeks and were the first Workawayers we have hosted. They were a pleasure to have around, and we really enjoyed hearing about all their travels and adventures. James is an experienced carpenter, and Izzy is hardworking and practical. They worked on several outdoor landscaping projects which required a good level of physical fitness and many hours of hard work. We really appreciate the great job they did in transforming our back garden. We wish them all the best in their travels.

Morgan and Rebecca stayed with us for two weeks and were a great help in the garden. They did lots of pruning and tidying up as well as collecting and spreading mulch. They also did a great job of cleaning the house and windows after the Summer holiday onslaught. I really admired the way that they got stuck in and saw each task through to the end. On a personal level they're a lovely couple to have in your midst, gracious and considerate. Thanks for your help Rebecca and Morgan and wishing you well for the rest of your adventure.

Durante el tiempo que colaboró con nosotros, Silvia demostró un nivel sobresaliente tanto en su práctica personal como en su capacidad para guiar a otros. Sus clases están cuidadosamente estructuradas, integrando técnicas de respiración (pranayama), alineación postural y secuencias fluidas que se adaptan a practicantes de distintos niveles, desde principiantes, como yo, hasta avanzados. Silvia posee una presencia tranquila y profesional, logrando crear un ambiente de confianza, respeto y conexión en cada sesión. Su enfoque va más allá de lo físico, fomentando también la conciencia corporal, la relajación mental y el bienestar integral de los participantes. Además, Silvia es una persona responsable, comprometida y proactiva. Se integra fácilmente en entornos comunitarios, muestra iniciativa para organizar actividades adicionales y siempre mantiene una actitud positiva y colaborativa. Su capacidad de adaptación la hace ideal para proyectos diversos, especialmente en contextos internacionales y multiculturales como los que se encuentran en Workaway. We've spend wonderfull month in the hills of Güímar — many thanks to Alex and Yarina for welcoming us! Vladimir (and his two amazing little girls!) taught us so much about organic farming and how to transform its products, all in a joyful and caring atmosphere. We loved our fellow volunteers (bonjour Irina ;) !), the peacefulness of the place, and the beautiful sunrises overlooking the sea. The little harbor of Puertito, just a few kilometers away, is full of charm :) We would definitely come back without hesitation! Alice & Julien-Yacine

Mon expérience ici était vraiment agréable, l'endroit en lui même est calme et reposant avec de magnifiques coucher de soleil. Le travail demandé était simple et laissait largement assez de temps pour surfer. Promener Wilson toujours enthousiaste était plutot un plaisir! cuisine bien équipée. Rafael est quelqu'un de très ouvert d'esprit et c'est agréable de discuter, ou de partager une session de surf avec lui. Lobitos est l'endroit parfait pour le surf!

Joe was a great help, especially in the garden planting blubs, weeding and mowing. Coco, my dog, became hist shadow and loved all the walks they went on. Happy to recommend Joe

Words won't be able to describe the time I had. I was lucky to spend around 4 weeks in this wonderful little home Zach and Vale have created in Southern AZ. During this time, I got to dig new garden beds, do some painting, learn natural building with adobe on their new indoor shower and outdoor bathroom whilst also spending some fun time with their two daughters. In my last week, I was even able to welcome two adorable little goats into the world! Besides, Zach and Vale's deep commitment to their busy life whilst maintaining deep kindness, ambition and insight has left me so so soo inspired. They are truly awesome and amazing humans. I hope to become close to what they are someday. I was also lucky enough to partake in two homeswaps and one seedswap which redefined and strengthened some of the attributes I imagined to be related to community. This diverse group of people shared an strong sense of mutualism and care for one another that I'd rarely experienced before. Lastly, the town of Bisbee is super funky and cool and I really recommend going to Chiricahua Ntl Park!

Heather was very flexible and accommodating during our stay, and I learned how to use a weed whacker and she gave me some great gardening tips while I was there! We went with her to pub quiz night which was fun and she even came along when I played at an open mic night. She makes a great quiche as well. It's around a 40 minute walk to town but it is a nice walk, and Heather was kind enough to drop us off at various places.

What a joy to be around! She was communicative, a hard worker, and open to sharing and listening. Thanks for sharing meals and life conversations! You're welcome back here on the ridge anytime Bobbie!

Hola! First of all I want to be grateful to Dee and her Mom Spomenka's hospitality and how they treated me with lot of love and kindness during all my stay (for about 3 weeks last summer)... Dee took care about our needs as volunteers and allowed us to make suggestions to develop some projects like the vegetable garden, orchard and soil improvement... Mostly I was in charge of tidying up and organising spaces, since the property was under renovation... Specially thanks for the support and all the arrangements that allowed to play music at a concert, for me one of the best moments in my life, unforgettable and even recorded! I hope we can meet again soon and would love to see all the improvements in your projects! Thank you so much for everything! Hvala Puno!

Our stay at the monastery was truly wonderful. We found a peaceful place to pause, breathe, and organise our work in a gentle rhythm. What meant the most was the strong sense of community, the genuine kindness, and the deep spiritual atmosphere that shaped each day. We leave grateful and enriched.

Izzy and Mico were great workawayers! We really enjoyed having them on our farm! They were always positive, even sometimes work was hard, enjoyed and respected the place and brought a good vibe to the team. We totally recommend them to any other hosts. Very easy going and respectful people who will be a sure a great addition to any other hosts project! Take care guys! Thanks for you good work!

Rachel has an amazing sense of humour and was a pleasure to have around the house. Responsible and funny, hosting here was a breeze and I can absolutely recommend her to any other host. All the staff missed her right when she left :)

Realmente ha sido un intercambio excelente. Al principio creí que el idioma sería un problema, pero cuando hay buena predisposición, no hace falta mucho más para lograr una buena comunicación. Miranda y Cairn vinieron acompañados de dos amigos increíbles: Archie, de Inglaterra, y Quinty, de Holanda . Todos son personas con una gran educación, algo que valoramos muchísimo. Son altamente recomendables para cualquiera que desee abrirles las puertas a personas confiables. ¡Gracias por la ayuda durante estas dos semanas y que tengan un excelente regreso a casa!

Haden es una excelente persona, muy trabajador, colabora dando su máximo, es respetuoso y muy buen conversador, habla bastante español y le gustan los animales. Lo recomendamos al 100% Volveríamos a recibirlo felices.

Three months later and we are still dreaming of the paradise of Aotea- Great Barrier Island. Manu and Sofia made us feel at home and we really enjoyed helping them on their very special land. They are both so generous, full of knowledge, stories and are very inspiring couple to be around. They are really laid back and communicating is super clear and easy. The accommodation is absolutely stunning, with a beautiful round window to look at the forest and the kakas from. Warming the hot water with a stove is lovely and we enjoyed the outside bath under the stars. The A frame is a really cool space to hang out in and it's full of interesting books to read! We were spoiled with great food from the garden, some delicious kingfish sashimi and Manu's amazing sourdough. They are both superb cooks! Great barrier island is a really unique place full of fun activities and interesting people. We did a lot of spearfishing in the great beaches, and got to play in the waves with a surfboard a friend of theirs kindly lent us. New year's eve at the social club was great fun and we loved to get to know the locals a bit and hear their stories. Gyro the dog was a pleasure to hang out with and look after and we hope his paw is better. We'll never forget our time on this special island.

A truly wonderful couple. She cooks beautifully, and they are both so loving and kind. I adore their energy and their sense of humor. They have become part of my family. They are deeply missed, and my home will always be open to them

So its been about a year, since I stayed with Matilde and Janna in March of 25. Ive not gotten to write a review, but that doesnt mean i didnt have a great time with them. They were so welcoming from the start and stayed that way, even when I came back to visit later in the year. Youll meet not only them but travellers and many locals and get integrated into the lively Gent livestyle quickly. There is always something going on, it being small events or just the teamlunch we had most days. The workload depends on the day but is never to much, I would say its actually pretty chill. Apart from the main tasks, there will be other fun stuff too. We workawayers did for example design and paint some of the caravans! One of my first workaways and maybe also the best :)
