  I’m Katharina, 37, and I recently moved to Cyprus to build a new life here. I love nature, meaningful conversations, personal growth, and creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere around me. Starting this new chapter on the island feels very exciting to me, and I’m happy to open my home to people from different places and backgrounds.
  
  I’ve done Workaway myself before, so I know how special this kind of exchange can be. I’m looking forward to welcoming open-minded, kind, and reliable people who enjoy being part of daily life, helping out, and sharing a genuine human connection. I do tend to prefer hosting women, although I don’t fully exclude men. I live a mostly vegetarian lifestyle, so it would be lovely if that suits you as well. Being a non-smoker is also important to me.
  
  I think Workaway can be a wonderful way to experience a place in a more real and personal way — and that is exactly what I would love to offer here in Cyprus.

  For me, Workaway is about much more than help with daily life — it’s about meeting people, sharing experiences, and creating meaningful cultural exchange.
  
  I would love to welcome people who are open to sharing a bit of life together here in Cyprus. That can mean having meals together, spending time outdoors, talking about our different backgrounds and experiences, or simply enjoying everyday life in a relaxed and respectful way. I think some of the nicest moments in a Workaway experience often happen in the small, ordinary moments.
  
  I’m happy to share my own experiences of moving to Cyprus, building a new chapter here, and creating a home in a different country. I also enjoy conversations about personal growth, communication, lifestyle, and creativity. If it fits, I can also share a little about content creation and creative work.
  
  What I especially love about hosting is the chance to learn from other people — their cultures, their stories, their habits, and their way of seeing life. I think this kind of exchange can be inspiring for both sides, and that’s one of the main reasons why I want to host.

  Arbeit

  I’m looking for someone who enjoys being part of everyday life here and helping in a natural and supportive way. Help can include household tasks such as cleaning, vacuuming, keeping the home tidy, cleaning windows, and sometimes helping with simple cooking. I mostly eat vegetarian food, so it’s lovely if you also enjoy fresh, simple vegetarian meals. From time to time, there may also be small practical tasks such as light painting, helping outdoors around the house, or simple support around the pool area. Nothing too heavy or technical. Creative skills like filming, video editing, or helping with content creation would be a lovely bonus, but are absolutely not required. About once a week, I’m planning to spend some time supporting animals in need here in Cyprus, so I’d be very happy if this is something close to your heart too. It’s also a nice extra if you enjoy sports, movement, or an active lifestyle, but this is completely optional. What matters most to me are kindness, reliability, respect, independence, and a genuine human connection.
  
  I will provide basic ingredients so Workawayers can prepare their own meals. I mostly eat vegetarian/pescatarian myself and usually cook simple, healthy meals. Shared meals are possible from time to time, but because my schedule can vary, I cannot guarantee three shared meals every day. I’m happy to discuss food preferences and make sure there is a fair arrangement for both sides.

  Unterkunft

  I live in a bungalow in Cyprus with a small garden full of potential and a peaceful outdoor space to enjoy everyday life. There are already several fruit trees in the garden, including orange, lemon, mandarin, pomegranate, and mango, and I’m also hoping to grow some vegetables like zucchini and tomatoes over time.
  
  As a Workawayer, you would have your own private bedroom and a separate bathroom in a more independent part of the house, which gives both of us a nice balance between sharing a home and still having personal space and privacy.
  
  The house has a pool, outdoor areas to sit and relax, and enough space to feel comfortable. If you need a place to work with your laptop, write, or simply have some quiet time, that’s absolutely possible too.
  
  The nearest bus stop is about a 10-minute walk away, and from there you can get to the beach in around 30 minutes. If you want to explore more of Cyprus, rental cars are also quite accessible here. I’m also happy, when possible, to drop someone off at the beach or in the mountains for a hike and pick them up again later. And if it fits well, we can also discover parts of the island together.

  I currently prefer to host women and would love to welcome someone who is tidy, respectful, reliable, and a non-smoker. A peaceful and comfortable home atmosphere is important to me, and I really appreciate people who are considerate and naturally help keep a shared space clean and pleasant. It would also be a lovely fit if you enjoy a mostly vegetarian lifestyle.
  
  I live in the beautiful Sea Caves area between St. George and Peyia. It’s a peaceful location, but still close to many lovely things to do. Beautiful beaches are only around 4 minutes away by car, horse riding is possible nearby, and a gym is about 7 minutes away by car.
  
  I think having your own car is definitely a plus here, especially if you’d like to explore the island independently. If you are a safe and confident driver, it may also be possible in some situations to use my car by arrangement. Just keep in mind that Cyprus has left-hand traffic.
  
  For me, the most important things are kindness, cleanliness, open communication, and a good sense of shared living.

  Digital nomads are welcome here, especially if you enjoy a quieter place to live and work. There is enough space to work with a laptop, and the separate room and bathroom allow for a nice balance of privacy and shared living. I’m happy to host someone who works online, as long as the agreed help around the house is still done in a reliable and respectful way. For me, good communication is the most important thing, so that we can find a rhythm that works well for both of us. Having a car is definitely helpful in this area if you want to stay flexible and explore more of the island while working remotely.
